That darn arthritis, so bad. Especially with an animal, because obviously they can't tell you they are hurting. I always laugh and wonder what Zoe would say if she could talk, then I think, I would probably not want to know

Evening friends...
I am going to watch the season of Idol for the first time...decided to follow it from start to finish..another one that I enjoy is Project Runway...started watching it last season and enjoyed it...I am getting tired of watching the Nancy Grace type of shows where it is always sad bad news...going to try some different shows for a change..know what I mean?

I have never watched Idol either, but am watching it now Cookie. I don't know why, guess cause I didn't change the channel, but I really liked the big Italian guy and the 16 year old girl.

My youngest daughter really likes Project Runway. I know what you mean, believe me, I'm watching Andy Griffith right now, then two episodes of All in the Family, and then two episodes of Sanford and Son

liked the 16 yr old too..did you hear the history on her family? they had a down syndrome boy and after he was born, the family adopted 3 other babies with downs! hip hip hooray for that family!!!

That earthquake is awful, I could have sworn they said it shook for 45 seconds, I can't imagine that. Having been in several earthquakes, I just can't imagine that 

Wow, I can't imagine being in an earthquake. 45 seconds sounds like a long time and what is so very sad is Haiti is the poorest country in the world. We had a priest that came to church one time that is a missionary there. I ended up giving him like all the cash in my purse it made me so sad. 

I pray for all the people and your friend's family. My husband said he is going to donate money at work tomorrow, they always do things like that where he works. It is one thing to be in the earthquakes that we have experienced here since I've lived here, all the blinds and ceiling fans and overhead lights shake, I remember once my husband and kids were on the couch and I was walking towards them and fell to the ground. Every time I also run outside, the one thing they tell you not to do, but my logic is I don't want to be under the rubble. I can't imagine that magnitude and damage 

I wouldn't know what to do during an earthquake. I would run outside like you. Scary thing about earthquakes, you don't know when they will happen. At least with tornadoes, now with Doppler radar and such, they can predict when and where it is going to hit way before it comes. That is nice they donate money at work.

Yeah with tornadoes there would be a siren that would go off and then we would go to the basement. An earthquake, well, can happen at anytime, no warning. I use to be afraid, but now it's like oh well, if it happens and it is bad, there is nothing we can do.

Earthquakes would scare me so bad. My friend today showed me a video of a dog running from an earthquake before it happened. I guess animals really sense things people don't. Then the news about the Haiti earthquake happened.

No I didn't, I came in when she started singing and saw after with her family. I didn't know the story. Thanks for the update.

I know No Rose, I can't imagine not being able to complain about my aches and pains.  If Josef could talk, he would probably tell me "quit being a worrywart and let me get that dog, PLEASE". He was so funny on our walk. He tried to get a possum. I finally got him up the stairs. The guys that just moved where laughing that Joe was walking me.

We have a possum that comes late at night to sleep behind one of our trees, I can tell because of the imprint of him sleeping there by the bark around the tree. One night years ago he came a little earlier, Zoe got ahold of him and literally threw him against our fence, and he laid there playing possum. I was screaming, we got her in the house, and a little while later he was gone.

If you like war movies try "The Last Castle" - not a war movie per se but war like and great

That's funny but scary No Rose that she got the possum. Josef was barking like crazy, I really thought the possum would play possum. It finally did once we got upstairs then it went to get a drink. It was kind of a little one, so I felt sorry for it.

He creeped me out when I saw him. I guess I just don't like people that dress like hipsters.
