This old monkey wants some of that beautiful vintage lingerie!  I am off to spend a few days in Laughlin Nevada.  I will miss you my friends but am looking forward to a few days away with my dh.  TTYL.
 

    Have a fun and safe trip. I just love looking at old ads like that. Another thing that I like to do especially when I'm depressed, is read old Heloise books, from the sixties, with all her handy tips. Stupid, but it helps me for some reason 

I like reading recipe books when I am depressed. Then I get hungry, then I eat food.

I love reading recipe books all the time! you would think that I cooked a lot the way that I always am looking for recipes..also love looking at kitchen gadgets to see what it new...

  I like to look mostly at the pictures.

NRCG, don't feel bad. I was there the first time for ABBA, and I hated them with a passion! Gimme Jimi Hendrix, Mott the Hoople, David Bowie, Qeeen, screaming guitars and cute boys...that's what I was about..musically (except for band, then it's all about the classics). But now, I kinda like ABBA, they're so quaint, so retro...so Judy Jetson in the fashion department! I guess they remind me now of the people I used to laugh at them (ABBA) with, and it makes me smile. It also helps to remember that they learned most of their songs phonetically, and could barely speak English.

Let's put it this way, their tunes are catchy now, but their fashions will always be horrid and laugh-worthy!

Judy Jetson    I don't know what it is about them. One other thing that I hate with a passion is the music from Grease, I mean I really hate it. When my kids when they were younger and they would be mad at me, they would go and start blasting that Grease cd, I would just go nuts inside. I am not a fan of musicals, the only musicals that I have ever liked was Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar, and my all time favorite Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Those lil guys do not stay still for more than 5 seconds, and that is when they are sleeping.

OMG, even my daughter calls me from work, and we watch it together and laugh, how adorable. One of the white pups nurses like he means business, the poor mom pup needs a break now and again. What a wonderful mother, she is so patient with her puppies, and loves to clean them
