I have to say I was wondering why the baby was left with the smiths and not given to logan when ej said logan kidnapped the baby. It makes perfect sense he didn't have legal custody of the baby. What a crazy story, wonder why she said that Logan had kidnapped the child? Wonder if this was the beginning of the story but Logan was orignially going to take the fall.
That is something that has just gnawed on me from day one.

Janet I can understand your frustration with seeing the simple answer to a child in danger and then asking why didn't this person do this or do that when the worse happens. I will be honest and say I too have thought that from time to time on this forum. I try to use that information to educate those around me in my circles, on the real dangers out there, such as the real dangers of children walking by themselves to and from school or anywhere for that matter, doing backround checks on men you bring into your home and not thinking that a person is not capible of something just because you know them.

Maybe people started asking where Gabriel was since she didn't have him so she said Logan kidnapped him?

When I  searched for the trailer on the assessor site I did not find it.  Probably because she bought the trailer but rented the land it sat on?

When all is said an done ... I am sure there has been times in raising my three kids that I knowingly put them at risk ... took a chance but ... fortunately I lucked out.

I can remember when my daughter was seven years old and ... I made the decision to do an errand ... knowing I would not be on time to pick her up from school right at the sound of the bell but ... as it turned out I was held up and ... arrived 30 minutes late.  The teacher and principle had taken her under their wing but ... went up one side of me and down the other for my neglect ... informing me what the consequences could have been if my daughter had not been brought in from the school grounds.  Looking back I love them both for caring.  At the time ... as a young parent ... I thought they had over-reacted.

Janet I wouldn't call what you did neglect but rather a laps in judgement. I think all of us as parents have done something we can look back on and thank our lucky stars nothing happened.
