We were the glorified babysitters at that time giving her moral support in her custody battle. Why would we buy her a Garmin to leave the state? At the very least, we thought we would get to be her free babysitters so she could keep custody of her baby and still work and hopefully get child support.

From FB it is clear that they were not glorified babysitters, they considered Gabriel THEIRS, like a possession.  I have never had a baby sitter asked to be called Mom or Dad or told their own kids that the one they were looking after was their new sibling.  Tammi needs to hook that hose up to her butt as she is not coming clean right now and there could be another blockage from the amount of carp she is throwing out!

I know it is blatant. I have never met a worse liar in my life! There are pics with a title "Daddy" and she is trying to convince people they were just going to "help" her until she got on her feet again. Yea my birthday's 1/16/10 too!

I was watching TV just now (channel 15 in Phoenix) and during the commercial break they said there were new developments in the case of baby Gabriel and a second investigation is underway.  More at 10 PM on the news...

I believe they are Darla - chilling. 

Tammi is not real smart - what the heck - free babysitters???  We know that wasn't her motive and what I would like to know is what does free babysitting have to do with child custody?  That makes no sense - she must think we all came down in yesterday's rain.

Hannah looks like a refugee, she appears under fed. Do you remember the comment made by the babysitter? 

I do remember that comment, I wonder if Tammi doesn't give her enough to eat because she doesn't want her to be fat. Or Hannah could just be naturally skinny.

I would think that Hannah would be in pre-k I would like to know if "the born again mother" is home schooling Hannah, or if she is in public school.

News is on now.  They state that a second investigation is underway.  Two separate investigations underway--a missing persons investigation and a homicide investigation.  A task force has been formed involving San Antonio police, FBI and others.  The police won't say if the search of Smith's home yielded anything.  FBI all over the country are involved in the case.  Frank McQuearly said if someone has a baby they didn't have before, to let someone know.  Elizabeth refuses to talk to police.

So now it is becoming a homicide investigation as well.  I think it is about time they gave this some consideration.

If I was Elizabeth Johnson's mother ... believe me I would get some answers out of that girl.  Just ask my 39 year old son about his mother's interrogation techniques when he was a teen.  It did not take long for the truth to be revealed.

I was kicked off and couldn't get back in for a bit.  The biggest news appears to be that a parallel investigation is now taking place--one for a missing person and one a homicide investigation.  They did say that FBI all across the country are involved.  Logan refused to appear on TV or give a statement, so his father, Frank, made just a one sentence appeal for anyone who sees people with a baby they didn't have before to come forward.

This is the first they have come out and said there was an active homicide investigation.  There has to be some evidence for FBI and police to launch a homicide investigation.  I wonder if the motel rooms and car yielded evidence that pointed in that direction.  So sad.

I feel that they have found something to lead them to start a homicide investigation. My reporter friend will be back tomorrow so I will see what I can find out. This just breaks my heart. Sounds like shades of Casey Anthony. Let the time drag out til decomp destroys everything. These cases just gets worse with every new one.
