Hannah looks like a refugee, she appears under fed. Do you remember the comment made by the babysitter? 

I do remember that comment, I wonder if Tammi doesn't give her enough to eat because she doesn't want her to be fat. Or Hannah could just be naturally skinny.

I would think that Hannah would be in pre-k I would like to know if "the born again mother" is home schooling Hannah, or if she is in public school.

It is important to remember that hypocrites can be found in every walk of life.  Tammi Smith is a hyprocrate ... she is not a testimony to the faith she claims to embrace.

There is nothing wrong with those who have a spiritual conversions (born again) ... there is nothing wrong overall with home schooling ... private schools ... faith based private adoptions.  We have to stay focused on Tammi Smith's acts of wrongdoing encompassing Gabriel Johnson.

Klaas, thanks for the vote of confidence.  I do have faith in our local LE, especially since they work closely with other jurisdictions.  The FBI all across the country are involved in this investigation.  They will find out what happened to Gabriel.  They may not find him physically, but they will know what happened.  The motel rooms were days old by the time they got to them, but the car has been processed for evidence.  There are video surveillance cameras, her GPS, her cell phone, and other ways to trace Elizabeth's tracks.  There are really only three possibilities at this point:
1.  another person or couple in the US have him,
2.  he is dead,
3.  someone has taken him to Mexico.

Option 1 is becoming less likely the more time goes by.  So is the possibility of finding his body as time goes by, and being able to prove his murder.  Option 3 is very likely considering Elizabeth's movements.  We'll see.

They need more evidence that just Elizabeth's declaration alone.  That won't hold up.  There has to be some evidence to open a homicide investigation.

While we find the lack of information about evidence and the investigations frustrating, it is a good sign.  A very good sign that LE is making progress and keeping the evidence close to the vest.  My curiosity wants to know everything that happened, but the lack of facts and information is a good sign, really.

I would suspect that Tammi and Jack Smith's loose lips are very aggravating to LE.  They are like a thorn in their proverbial paw.  I'm sure the police wish they would just shut up and let them work.  I wonder if the midnight search and seizure of their property was a sign of the irritation LE feels towards their actions.  These two idiots just want their 15 minutes of fame and are probably causing the police so much wasted time and energy that they'd love to stumble upon something these idiots did that was illegal just to shut them up for a while.

One other detail from the news story on TV tonight--they showed the FB page for little Gabriel (and it was not the Tammi/Gabriel page).  This was done in conjunction with the appeal by Logan's father.

I pray this little guy is in a crib right now dreaming of all things wonderful and being loved and cared for by a couple who waited a long, long time to become parents. It would be a much better alternative then to find out he was killed at the hands of his mother  She should have never been alone with Gabriel, not for a moment, much less a week.

Tempe PD: 2 investigations involving missing baby (with video)

TEMPE, AZ -- Police confirm to ABC15 there are two, separate, yet parallel investigations involving the disappearance of 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson.

A team of detectives are working a missing persons investigation and a homicide investigation at the same time because it is unknown if boy's mother gave the child away or killed him.

Tempe detectives have also released photos taken of the baby boy who has been missing since his mother left Tempe with him in late December.

Tempe Police Lt. Mike Horn said in an e-mail that the pictures were taken from Elizabeth Johnson's camera when she was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida nearly two weeks after the pair went missing.

Horn told ABC15 a group of investigators from the FBI, San Antonio Police Department, Maricopa County Attorney's Office and other agencies are actively involved in the case across the country.

Johnson was indicted by a grand jury Thursday.

Horn says investigators believe all the photographs were taken at a Home Gate Hotel and that the last two photos have a date stamp of December 26.

Johnson was indicted on charges of kidnapping, child abuse, custodial interference, and conspiracy to commit custodial interference.

Well known TV show, America's Most Wanted, featured the Gabriel Johnson case, but Horn would not discuss any tips generated by the publicity, only that investigators continue to get tips and are using every means possible to get information.

Officials say Johnson fled the state with her son during the week of December 22 in an apparent custody dispute.

It was asked on FB what happened to the downs child she was going to adopt and another poster reminded me she had said the mother wanted more money and they didn't want to do anything illegal so they dropped out. So I must ask, did she call and report this mother who was trying to sell her child? I would like LE to find out about this child. What do you all suggest I do? Who do I contact first?

As for the reason she dropped out...BS.  I am betting they have every last penny tied up in their new house, the Hummer, the lifestyle.  House rich and cash poor.  She was offering $2,000 to a very young surrogate when the going rate is around $25,000, is a friend to a quicky cheap bankruptcy site and gave back their last house.  New house is only in Tammi's name.  Anyone else think Jack may have declared bankruptcy and they are protecting the assets under Tammi?
