Still nothing at Ancestry.com for Tammi Peters or Tammi Smith.  I did find this for Tammi Facio.  Found the 1963 date interesting:

and this

This is odd....could it be that she used two different birthdates on documents or something?

Why is the date of 1972 in brackets under it?      Can I shave off 10 years like that as well?

Search for Baby Gabriel:
Local companies picking up $100,000 excavation cost  (with video)

Tuesday, workers began the monumental task of excavating a section of the Tessman Road landfill in search of Baby Gabriel.

The San Antonio Police Department estimates the cost of this dig to be more than $100,000.

However, it’s not going to cost taxpayers a dime.

The police department reached out to nearly a dozen local companies who agreed to donate time, equipment, and resources to the search efforts.

"We really didn't hesitate to say yes," said Zachary Construction spokesperson Vicky Waddy.

Zachary Construction told the city it could take care of the dig free of charge to the city -- a job it would normally charge a company $30,000.

Along with a more than a half dozen construction companies, SAPD asked the Bexar County Junior Livestock Show for help as well.

"They asked me if they could use it, " said Bexar County Junior Livestock Show President Clarence Sultenfuss.

The junior livestock show owns property near the landfill that SAPDP needs to store equipment for the search and to hold media briefings.

"There was no hesitation on our part to let them use it,  said Sultenfuss. “We immediately told them yes."

When it’s added all up, this landfill search will cost the city taxpayers nothing, but for many of Baby Gabriel's family members, it's priceless.

City officials say the following businesses have assisted the search effort with equipment or personnel:

• Allied Waste Landfill
• HB Zachry Construction
• Yantis Construction
• M&M Contracting
• Holt Construction
• United Site Services
• Home Depot
• HEB
• Bexar County Junior Livestock
• Martinez Social Club

That is awesome of these companies! Maybe we should send them an email commending them or something?

Great idea!  In these economic times it is nice to see companies step up when times are hard.  Sending thank you emails and letting them know they did a good thing is a great idea.

Adoption Officials Warn Of Scams
Scams Can Include Birth Mothers, Unsanctioned Adoptions

SAN ANTONIO -- Local adoption officials gave a warning Wednesday night about possible scams that target vulnerable couples desperate for children of their own.

Justin Johnson, executive director of Adoption Alliance, said some of the scams even involve the birth mothers themselves.

Licensed adoption agencies funnel money from adoptive parents to birth parents based on need for living expenses, food or pre-natal care.

Until amateur con artists that adoption professionals try to weed out begin to ask for more money.

"We probably get a couple of calls a week (about) girls trying to get money," Johnson said.

Johnson said telling adoptive parents their birth parents have backed out is bad enough, "but having to tell them they essentially have been ripped off, is probably second."

Johnson said to also beware of unsanctioned adoptions.

"It's illegal for you to offer (an unwanted child) and it's illegal for someone to accept (and unwanted child)," Johnson said.

Take it from a judge in children's court, the only way to adopt a child is the legal way.

"Eventually the child would need to go to school," said Judge Charles Montemayor. "There would need to be documentation."

Montemayor said a better, safer alternative are children already in the system, yearning for their "forever families."

"The smiles on the parents faces, the smiles on the children's faces (are) priceless," Montemayor said. "So I would ask that (would-be adoptive parents) do it the right way and give a child ... a new life."

I'm wondering how the weather today is going to affect the search for Gabriel in the garbage dump. I realize the crews are still using large equipment to remove some of the garbage to prepare for a search with dogs, but the weather is getting worse than it was last week.

San Antonians brace for sleet, rain and dangerous driving

Forecast: Cold rains expected today
Cold and wet week

What We're Tracking:
Storm Tracker 4 Meteorologists are tracking another day of very cold rain.

What's Happening:
This morning temps continue to stay above freezing, but not by much as moderate rain that fell overnight and into this morning will make roads very slick for the morning commute.  Expect light to moderate rain to continue through the morning hours with temps in the mid 30's.  This afternoon rain showers will continue to fall across the area, but will thin out a bit as the upper level system responsible for them moves eastward.  Expect temps to climb a few degrees to near 40 this afternoon.  Tonight rain showers should taper off with mainly cloudy skies expected by morning, lows will be in the mid 30's.  Friday will see clearing skies and a nice warm up as temps will climb about 20 degrees during the day to highs in the middle 50's.  Expecting a lot of sunshine over the weekend, as temps will be in the lower 60's.  A dry front will push through the area toward the start of next work week, and will bring some cold nights, and cool afternoons.  However, it appears that after this rain event ends overnight, a long streak of dry weather will start up and push through next week...

Your Forecast:
Today: Cold rain.  High 40.  Winds: NE 5-10
Tonight: Rain ending.  Low 36.  Winds: North: 5-10
Friday: Clearing skies.  High 56.  Winds: NW 5-10
Saturday: Mostly sunny.  Low 37.  High 62

It looks like the weather will improve tomorrow.

Good morning Monkeys,

Thanks, Northern Rose for putting up the website of the "Blackmail" article. IMO there is much more Tammi Smith should be arrested for, one of which is attempted blackmail.  I don't think you have to demand money for it to be legally blackmail.  In this case it was "Sign the papers or you'll never see Gabriel again." In many ways, that's worse than a demand for money. It is certainly immoral.  Tammi apparently threatened that if Logan signed the papers, Gabriel would be safe "w/us."  She wanted that baby so badly that she would have done almost anything to get him, and did.  Also, when she left the jail she said that Logan had better be "Watching out."  That sound a lot like a threat to me, and sure enough, Logan's truck was broken into. Of course I can't connect the two, but it doesn make me wonder if Tammi has connections in SA.

I think that Tammi knows exactly where Gabriel is and that she IMO arranged for him to be there.  I think EJ was paid off, in effect she sold her baby, and that's why she had $500 in cash, had bought the bus ticket and had been shopping, as well as having her nails done.  She must have gotten around  $1,000 and she, never having any money at all, thought that was a large amount.  I would also think that there was a promise of more when the operation proved a success.  She might be keeping quiet now because there is a promise of more money if she keeps her mouth shut.

Tammi Smith is a monster. IMO  She should no more raise a child than an insane person should.  In facts I do have questions about her sanity.  I don't know if many have read about the "Grifters," Sante Kimes and her son, Kenny.  They are both in prison for murder now, but they operated for years bilking people out of their money and property.  Sante was even convicted for "Keeping slaves."  She would go to Mexico and get young girls to come with her on the promise of a good life and then enslave them as household help.  Sometimes their schemes wouldn't work out so they resorted to murder.  Tammi reminds me a lot of Sante Kimes, although I doubt she has ever murdered anyone. But stealing someone's baby is a terrible thing to do and I think that's what she did and I think she has done it before.  That's a very expensive house she's building.  Tacky, but expensive.

I'm wonder what "LEGAL DEFENDERS OFFICE" which is by Tammi's name means.  It says for EJ "Public defender" so I wonder what the difference is. Surely the taxpayers of Maricopa County aren't picking up the tab for Tammi's lawyer.  Maybe they should take a look at that house and Tammi's Spanish style "Rod iron" sink.

Hi NoRose & Monkeys,  I found a newspaper in LA that carries marriages and divorces, (Washinton County), I am browsing
the 1994 Archivies. This newspaper carries Marriages & Divorces,(Public Record), there may be other publications in LA.
that could also.

http://www.gobogalusa.com/articles/2010/02/10/news/for_the_record/doc4b70256e31008180097941.txt

A search engine had a Tammi F Peters in Washington County, LA. I haven't found public records to support the claim, yet.
