Smith is currently at the Tempe Police Department, but is expected to be transported and booked into the Maricopa County Jail, according to Carbajal.

The Tempe Police Department is expected to hold a news conference at 3 p.m. to discuss the arrest.

Smith and her husband Jack were named 'persons of interest' in the case last month.

Sources confirm Jack was not arrested, but investigators say he remains of interest in the investigation.

I think Tammi sees herself as some kind of martyr.  That's why she said she was hoping to be arrested.  Then she can be a heroine, and she can say "see me, and see what I'm going through all for Gabriel".  And I think she's doing this because in her mind she has saved Gabriel from being with Elizabeth (who didn't want Gabriel) and Logan (who Tammi thinks wouldn't be a good parent).  I wonder how much money changed hands among the do-gooders?  I'm thinking Tammi initially wanted Gabriel for herself, and then she realized Logan was trying to get custody, and then Gabriel was sold/given to another couple.  I don't know.   I hope Gabriel is safe somewhere and can be found soon.  There's still  that gnawing fear inside that Elizabeth may have harmed Gabriel.

Failure to appear but she got lucky as the Courts dismissed this one last week.  If only they had waited a week for when she was escorted into Jail
