Past crimes of Tammi Smith were Failure to Maintain Control (1994); Forgery (1998); Simple Battery and Disturbing the Peace/ Offensive Language (2001). These crimes discredit her credibility in what she tells the police and news media about missing baby Gabriel Johnson.

Smith conspirator Johnson has been in jail since her arrest on December 31, 2009 in Miami Florida. Johnson told Baby Gabriel's father that she had killed their son a few days earlier. Since then, she has said she gave him away. But there is circumstantial evidence that she sold him. Her close confidante during her eight-day kidnapping sojourn was Tammi Smith.

ty klassand...i wish that if she knows something she would just spill it already...i am tired of seeing cases of the poor kids being missing/murdered and noone ever gets arrested for there murder.ugh just makes me mad as u no what....

I was just thinking the same thing Darla!! I sure hope Hannah's father does try to get his daughter back. By all accounts he has a strong case. I hate what all this though is going to do to Hannah though. She is just an innocent baby in all this chaos.

Travis told me in an email that he does not have the money for a lawyer. I told him surely if he could get his story out and that he needed a lawyer just maybe someone would help him for free. Or he could look for free legal help where he lives.

I agree too, I think there are many lawyers that would take this case probono, if not just to boost there own career as a lawyer. I hope he does pursue other avenues and gets his story out there.

I feel a little better about Gabriel being alive after the news conference. What I got out of it was that Tammi still had plans to adopt him down the road and maybe just maybe he is with one of her friends or family member.

Darla, I sure hope that is the case............. the thought that she threw Gabriel in the trash is haunting. I hope Tammi's arrest will be the spur for whoever has him to take him to a hospital and drop him off.
