Do I smell a book coming "The Silent Truth" by Tammi??   I googled quickly but nothing came up first page, but from her FB entry, sounds like it's in the making. Now she'll have another traumatic episode to include.

Tammi can't even remember who she was married to. She married another guy at 16, divorced him, then married Keith Facio when she was 18, so she was not a dang kid that was taken advantage of.

Maybe AZCPS, or whatever the child protective agency is called in AZ needs to pop in on Jack Smith and peruse the adoption papers for Hannah to see if they are in order.   I wonder if Chris Cherry is listed as her father.  I also wonder how many children Tammi has claimed were fathered by Chris Cherry.  I fear that there are many more children involved in this and I think it is a baby selling racket and Tammi is up to her eyeballs in it.  Jack Smith is an idiot.  She admitted fraudulently naming Chris Cherry as Gabriel's father on legal documents.  She admitted it on national TV.  It's on video, Jack, take a look. 

I wonder what business Jack Smith is in.  I know he played guitar or some instrument for a group in Nashville and she has claimed something about a company producing CDs. It would take a lot of money to build that house. it looks like a knock-off of a castle in Spain.  A lot of moolah there. Where did it come from?  Maybe human trafficking?  Or does he just live on money she makes from giving gullible people enemas?  That's probably over.  I hope it is, anyway.

I thought I read that Jack was now in real estate.  I have thought the same thing about baby brokering - something is awfully suspicious IMO

You are correct. He supposively buys distressed homes and flips them from what I was told by a "extremely distant" family member.

Poor sad Jack feels bullied.  Probably less bullied than how Logan felt when he started get texts and calls to sign over custody to the Smith's      

It's irritating when these folks try to bring God into the mix. I'm sorry, the whole thing sounds like a shady deal to swoop a man's child out from his nose and then preach about God being on their side. Let's not even get into the lying, her rap sheet.

Her response to her rap sheet before she was arrested today.  This was her response when someone confronted her on her FB about all the charges she has from her past .

In a Tuesday court document detailing the charges against Tammi Smith, police describe the lengths to which she went to adopt Gabriel:

• Before Johnson left Arizona with Gabriel, Smith made repeated phone calls and sent text messages to his father, Logan McQueary, pressuring him to relinquish his parental rights to the Smiths.

• Smith tried to recruit male acquaintances to put their names as a potential father on a document and seek to have McQueary submit to a DNA test. When no one agreed, she forged her cousin's name, Horn said.

• After Johnson and Gabriel left the state, Smith texted McQueary to sign custody papers, telling him, "The only way she'll come back is if my attorney faxes the signed papers to her so she won't get in trouble."

• Smith also tried to change court jurisdiction over Gabriel to Tennessee in an apparent last-minute plan to get Johnson to take the boy there and adopt him out without needing McQueary's approval, thus clearing the way for the Smiths, Horn said.

• And on Jan. 4, Smith suggested in a voicemail to the judge in the boy's custody case that he give the Smiths guardianship because Johnson wouldn't return to Arizona with him unless she knew he would be "safe."

Jack Smith said his wife wrote down her cousin's name on a court document for a paternity test "as a joke" and because she was rushed by a court employee.

"We didn't think it was a big deal," he said.

Scottsdale Woman Arrested In Missing Baby Case

TEMPE, Ariz. -- A woman who wanted to adopt an Arizona baby missing for more than a month was arrested Tuesday, but police said she was not connected to the boy's disappearance and that she and her husband likely don't know where the boy is.

Tammi Smith, 37, was interviewed at Tempe police headquarters and later booked into Maricopa County jail on charges of custodial interference, conspiracy to commit custodial interference and forgery.

Lt. Mike Horn said the charges stem from Smith's repeated and apparently desperate attempts to adopt 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson, not from the boy's Dec. 26 disappearance in San Antonio.

"I am innocent, and God is with me," a handcuffed Smith told television reporters as she was taken in for booking.

Tammi and Jack Smith of Scottsdale had been considered "persons of interest" for weeks in the investigation into the disappearance, but Horn said that's no longer the case.

He said that all of his agency's leads into the disappearance have been turned over to San Antonio police, which is conducting its own investigation.

Jack Smith told The Associated Press that police crossed the line by arresting his wife and trumped up charges against her.

"It's clear that we had nothing to do with this, and why they're trying to make a case against my wife, I don't know," he said. "We have done nothing wrong."

Police say Gabriel's mother, 23-year-old Elizabeth Johnson, drove Gabriel to San Antonio from Tempe, stayed about a week, then took a bus to Florida without him. She was arrested Dec. 30 in Florida and is charged in Arizona with kidnapping, child abuse and custodial interference.

She has refused to say where the baby is, but told Gabriel's father she killed him and threw his body in a trash bin. She also has said she gave the baby away to a couple in San Antonio, but police said she was vague in describing who they were.

The Smiths had sought to adopt Gabriel from Johnson, who gave the couple temporary guardianship over him for about 10 days in December before she picked him up and left Arizona.

In a Tuesday court document detailing the charges against Tammi Smith, police describe for the first time the lengths to which she went to adopt Gabriel.

Before Johnson left Arizona with Gabriel, those efforts included repeated phone calls and text messages to his father, Logan McQueary, pressuring him to relinquish his parental rights to the Smiths, according to the probable-cause statement.

With the case now shifting to San Antonio, speculation continues that police there will search a landfill for the boy's body. Managers of a San Antonio landfill have blocked off an area that might be searched for the baby, but police said they hadn't yet searched the site and decline to say whether they plan to do so.
