This is very vague. If this is an abduction, why no Amber Alert?

Catoosa County Man Says He'll Pick Up His Son In Pigeon Forge

Updated: Jan 18, 2010 6:25 PM EST

Catoosa Co., GA (WRCB) -- The Catoosa County father who's been pleading for help tracking down his son, says he's on his way to pick him up.

Kevin Broome says his ex-wife called late Monday afternoon to say she'd had car trouble in Pigeon Forge in addition to losing her cell phone.

Broome hadn't talked to his ex-wife since Friday when she picked up their son, 9 year old Christian Broome.  Christian was expected home Sunday at 6 but never arrived.

Kevin Broome says, "To know your son's not home where he's supposed to be and you don't know the environment or what he's told or subjected to, it's gut wrenching."

As soon as Eyewitness News gets word that Christian Broome is safe and with his father, we will update the story.

Makes a person wonder, but mighty glad he's safe.

My email bounced back for some reason. I found another contact address and forwarded my bounced letter to them.

Odd.

I looked around on the net and found a facebook page where a person asks for prayer for Christian, that he is a classmate of her son's, but she only said that he was found safe and will update more when she knows.

Odd story.
