Good morning Monkeys, really glad to be back and to have heat, lol.

We were with power for 36 hours due to the weather. Tree branches snapping, trees splitting in half due to the weight of the snow.

Well I see all we have so far is another distraction and still no HaLeigh.

Where is HaLeigh Ann Marie Cummings????

He appeared to be believable. Do you know if he has much of a record? I saw something about arson, and then on InSession someone is saying he has a record a mile long. So I have no idea.

Haleigh – A Year Later

At this point, it has been just over a year since young Haleigh Cummings went missing.  If you do not remember the specifics, here is a quick run down and review.  It’s not 100% but you should be able to get the drift.

February 10, 2009 – Haleigh Cummings goes missing, while in the care of her baby sitter, Misty Croslin.  Shortly after Haleigh went missing, Ronald Cummings (father of Haleigh) marries the baby sitter, Misty Croslin. Various family members get arrested for drug possession.  Ronald and Misty get a divorce.  Ronald, Misty, and some other family members end up getting arrested for drug trafficking and remain in lock up today.

Now you notice in the summary, that almost everything in that paragraph is about Ronald, Misty, and their family.  The only time you hear mention of Haleigh during that is in the beginning when she goes missing.  Sadly I think that all this drama surrounding the case has taken away from the reason that we are even paying attention.  HALEIGH.  I hear mentions when the news runs stories about the jail house tapes of the key players, this is the _____ to Haleigh, who has been missing since February 10, 2009.  But that is pretty much it.

So I wanted to take a moment to remember Haleigh.  This little girl went missing right as everyone already had a bleeding heart from watching the drama that was Caylee Anthony and her alleged killer, her mother Casey Anthony.  As a matter of fact, I was watching the memorial service for Caylee, when the Amber Alert was being broadcast for Haleigh.  I got chills.  I said “oh God, not again”.  Too many similarities.  Too much drama.  Of course, it was not as similar as I thought it was going to be.  Just as full of drama and circus activity though.

Every other day, you hear of the family member, or key players, or persons of interest, being arrested on unrelated charges, but not really any progress on Haleigh herself.  The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department is still working the case, and they are still getting tips and following leads, but they are not making a lot of progress, that we as the public can see.

Haleigh’s family held a vigil recently, on the one year anniversary of little Haleigh’s disappearance.  Unfortunately many of us could not go, but our sympathies, and thoughts, go out to the family.  We all wait for the day that you are reunited with Haleigh again.

So now, a little more than a year later, if you have got caught up in the drama that is the family, take a moment to step back, and ignore those drug traffickers, abusers, and users, and think today about Haleigh Cummings.

No it isn't, but they could have used the wrong Charles Jones that I found, that one DID have a longggggggggg record, but it went back to 1991, and this Charles Jones would have just been a toddler, so maybe they found the wrong record..........just guessing here
