I still think that boxer talk was a clue for Granny to go look in a drawer in the trailer. Ron has something hid in that drawer that he wants Granny to take care of, imo.
This could be, NRCG, because who really spends that much time talking about how he got two showers in one day, and since he was clean, decided to put those boxers back on and save the 2nd pair for another day.  I was like this is entirely too much information for a man to share with his grandmother who probably was glad to hear from him, but really didn't care to hear about his boxers.  It's not cheap to call the jail either.

Speaking of NG and no offense toward the twins...but it chaps my butt when she has done a show about a missing or murdered child that is gut wrenching and heartbreaking then at the end of the show she says "now here is pictures of  John David and Little Lucy at the park or McDonalds showing what a great mother she is while someone else is dying on the inside because they have lost a child. NG timing sucks.. ::MonkeyMad::jmo

for reference..
she would get less time if they waved drug charges for info about haleigh....
she is definitely guilty of 8 counts of trafficking
murder charges or accessory or whatever is lesstime then these drug ones

Thank you penny.  I took the link you posted and opened a thread "The 2009 Florida Statutes" for future reference.

GREAT ARTICLE............sheds alot of insight. WOW

http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/2010-02-07/story/a_year_since_haleigh_vanished_ronald_and_misty_lost_their_way_long_ago_0

On Feb. 9, the night after Croslin returned to Cummings' mobile home from the weekend of partying, Sykes dropped by. She said she was upset that Croslin had gone off and left her grandson without anyone to watch over the two kids.

"I was mad because Ronald let her come back," she said. "But it's his house. There wasn't nothing I could do about it other than be mad."

By the next morning, Haleigh was gone.

Morning Monkeys and guests,

[Post snipped for space and bolded by me.]

TY IM for this interesting article, I found it very informative, and bolded a part that I had never heard or read before.

I think this could explain why Misty never mentioned GGMS visit that evening, she wasn't there, but we read everywhere where GGMS said she stopped by with a friend to bring clean clothes, and saw the kids eating dinner out on the porch. Hmmm, sort of adds a new insight into the evening if it is indeed true. JMO
great catch.  Here's my gut reaction regarding GGMS> she was MAD that Misty (the live-in girlfriend) left her grandson (the children's FATHER) without anyone to watch over the kids.  She puts this in Misty's lap, when neither her or TN could or would babysit them.  TN reportedly offered to PAY Misty to stay and watch the kids (IMO... it was also a BRIBE for her to stay home so ronnie wouldn't be upset)  IMO... they didn't want to watch the kids so Misty could go party again.  They were trying to keep her home because that's where ronnie (FAB) wanted her.  These  people make me sick.

Why don't they see FAB is ultimately the ONE PERSON who could have made a difference that night, had he NOT be such a controlling ego maniac and either found a responsible ADULT to watch the kids, or stay home with them.

RON, it's your fault that something happened to your daughter and I hope you spend the rest of your life paying for it.
JMO
i totally agree

If GMS husband is deceased...who is "pop" she spoke of in the jail house tape....when she she said "pop said there was a snitch in here" I will always believe gms is the grandmaster of this circus and reading she raised him for 9 yrs confirms it for me. He did not have very good role models as he was growing up..jmo.
I think Pop is Ron's dad.
pop is sykes husband that helped raise ron until he died wth alzheimers in 2002 supposedly ron was never the same afterward... supposedly rons dad was not in his life much and ggms raised tn kids for her
there is a bis speel a bit back about the living arrangement breakdown fromthe beginning

OKAY, where's the blushing Rhino (saw the pooping one, loved that  Monkey Devil!)

I love you monkeys  .  I am so glad to be able to share this with you all who have a common place in your heart for the "lost".

I just can't stand it when I see grown adults blaming everything and everyone but the thing/person/people who are truly to blame.

I don't physically resemble my avatar IRL (thank all that is good and holy  an angelic monkey ) but I do resemble it in personality.      Bet you're all surprised. LOL

Hi NoRose,

Perhaps a hint to look for a gun?  He mentioned to bring his chains to him...he knows jewerly, isn't permitted, because
he could hang himself. Perhaps another hint for GGNS to look into his jewerly box? JMO
Yes, I think some of the things he was talking about were clues, otherwise he is more self centered than I gave him credit for

That article is what I think you are referring to?

It's very interesting. Fills in some gaps in my knowledge base.

I wonder how factual the article is. I have read Dana Treen's articles and found discrepancies before, but there is a lot of info in the article!

Thanks for pointing it out, Grama.

Guess this will be directed to HigherHopes as she attended the vigil yesterday.  I was looking over the photos and became curious if Johnny & Connie Sheffield and her mom, Ruby Kanger were present at the vigil.

I know there were a lot of people, but just wondering.

Thanks,
