From jail in an interview recorded with a reporter, Ronald Cummings described his ex-wife as a friend and said little else about her. He said the only two women he has tattoos for are his daughter and mother. He also confirmed he has a new girlfriend.

To pass the time, Cummings said he has been reading the Bible in jail. "I've been going to church since I was knee-high to a grasshopper," he said, citing Bible verses that he said give him "a little hope."

What really got my attention, this woman said she was getting her taxes tomorrow and she was getting $5,000. Ron said wow ,wish I could get mine filed and get my $5.000. I know about the earned income credit. But Ron didn't work again after Feb 9......2009, so he should not be able to file taxes this year.

Does that idiot think everyone gets 5 thousand everytime you file your taxes?

The less money you  earn and have dependents you can carry, the more you get on your income tax return.  Go figure!

But don't you have to work more than two months, I believe that is all he worked last year.

The 1040 forms are on line, you can make up an amount of what you think that RC could have made and carry 3 dependents and the earned income credit and see what the refund will be.

Hello All...I know I just jumped into this thread...I had been reading it for awhile and I guess this case just gets to me so I finally had to respond!  Well...all the cases get to me...I hate that children can just disappear and these skeevy parents of those children just go about their lives like the most important part is not missing.  It makes me angry, it breaks my heart and I wish there was something I could do besides donate money to these shady characters.  I wish that the children could be protected before these tragedies ever occur...oh right...there is a program for that...really successful...letting innocence live with trash like this.  And to think of all those that so badly want a child...so sad.

The woman he is talking to is prolly a friend of his Mothers too, they didnt sound like boyfriend and girlfriend, just a put on in my opinion!

Hi No Rose, they really didn't talk much like a boyfriend and girlfriend.  That is my take anyway.  Almost like they didn't even have anything to talk about.  Both phone calls are just pity party for Ronald and I don't think there is anything wrong with his tooth.  It is the usual song and dance to get some pills.
