Many of you remember 'player' the WS poster that used to live next door to Ron.  I had remembered that he had made a comment about the hands.  Here is the post ....  take it as you like.

Wow ! So many new folks.. Just to bring the fellow slueths a little update. There was a concern over Rons' knuckles being bloodied. Well I have that little rumor dispelled. Ron has a Nissan sedan, which he cherishes, that has a dent in the drivers side front fender,What makes this so important is that there are no signs of and scrapes or creases from an instrument. It is fist size and waiste height. I asked and it was a smile and a you gottit type reply. The rest is a supposition. Ron got home and the baby was gone. He got frustrated and hit his car in anger. Hence scraped knuckles. Let us end that with that. The Halieghbug collection donation center has only been manned twice in the past week. And the hours were very sparodic. So much for 24/7 until my baby is foud. After the storms we had a very fine day in Paradise..

Vigil tonight to revive hope for Haleigh Cummings; case not over

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the disappearance of Putnam County kindergartner Haleigh Cummings.

A candlelight vigil will be at 6 p.m. at Tyler Street and Monroe Avenue near where she vanished in Satsuma.

Haleigh would now be 6 years old, and her family is praying for her safe return.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has said it is very unlikely that Haleigh’s disappearance is the work of a stranger. Evidence and information indicate a strong likelihood that her disappearance is the result of foul play by someone known to either her father, Ronald Cummings, or his girlfriend, Misty Croslin.

There is no specific individual whom investigators have identified as a suspect, but investigators continue to believe Croslin has information in the case that she has not revealed. She was babysitting Haleigh and her brother the early morning she reported her missing.

Croslin has not provided a detailed accounting of what she did during the evening and early morning hours of Feb. 9 and 10, 2009, and physical evidence contradicts what Croslin has said about that time, said Lt. Johnny Greenwood of the Sheriff’s Office.

ORLANDO , Fla., Feb. 10 (UPI) -- The family of Haleigh Cummings said the first anniversary of the girl's disappearance in Florida will be marked with prayer vigils.

WESH-TV of Orlando, Fla., said Cummings' family would participate in a pair of vigils to pray for the girl's safe return. Haleigh Cummings, who would now be 6 years old, disappeared Feb. 10, 2009, from her family's trailer home near Satsuma, Fla.

Putnam County Sheriff's Office officials said the case is being actively investigated. Officials said they have checked nearly 6,000 leads in the case and have sought assistance from the public in locating Haleigh.

Investigators said while Misty Croslin, the girlfriend of Haleigh's father at the time of the disappearance, is not a person of interest, they suspect she may hold clues regarding the case. Croslin was babysitting Haleigh when the young girl disappeared.

WESH said Croslin and Haleigh's father, Ronald, were arrested and jailed during recent weeks as part of a drug sting by authorities.

That is why I posted his comments.  If your hitting a vehicle your hand would be in a fist... therefore as well, there would not be any sharp edges on the fender to make the marks that are on his hand.   So, the smile was the explanation ....

Exactly, and I could never understand some of the things Player has said about Ron and Misty. Maybe in his eyes that is what he saw, I don't know.

Exactly, and I could never understand some of the things Player has said about Ron and Misty. Maybe in his eyes that is what he saw, I don't know.

In your own mind you can interpret acts, statements, etc ... to fit  what you want it to be.  Overlooking the truth.  According to player ... he knew Ron ... but when you don't live with someone ... you REALLY don't know them.  He just believed what he was TOLD.

1 Year Passes Since Florida Girl Haleigh Cummings Disappeared

SATSUMA, Fla. —  One year has passed since a north Florida girl vanished from her home.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office says detectives have investigated thousands of tips since Haleigh Cummings, then 5 years old, disappeared from her family's Satsuma trailer a year ago Wednesday.

The child's father, Ronald Cummings, has said he returned from work and couldn't find his daughter. His then-girlfriend, Misty Croslin, had been baby-sitting the child.

Investigators say evidence and information they've collected indicates a strong likelihood the child's disappearance is the result of foul play by someone known to Cummings or Croslin.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Northeast Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS.
