I followed the donkey story and knew she was physically OK. I read an article that stated the examining Vet wasn't so sure about her emotional state. The whole thing just burns me. 

There's a reason that one of the surest signs of adult criminal maladjustment is cruelty to animals as a child. The adults who did this to that poor animal show a total inability to feel empathy, and that's scarey for any living thing crossing their paths. I think they should be charged and should serve jail time!

Whew............. got that off my chest!   

Now, if there were words that could get a few things off my azz, I'd be SO happy!!!

Is anybody else having problems with the heat?? It's been SO hot and humid and we've been having heat storms in the late afternoon. My internet went down yesterday and just came back a couple of hours ago. Apparently it was just a pocket, because work was OK, and my son's was only down for a couple of hours. Monday, lightening got the router at work and I had to call the tech guy. I was terrified it was the server, but thankfully not!

My car said it was 99* on the way home from work when a sudden storm came through. Within a mile, the temp dropped to 88* and was back up to 98* by the time I got home.    I walked out of the office and honestly, it felt like I was walking into a steam bath.

I can tell a huge difference in trying to just breathe outside! It's like trying to inhale water! We're going to have to grow gills if this keeps up!

It's been Hot here in Northern Texas. But we have had only a couple really humid days. But I know Alabama has been hot and humid like you CBB.

I am glad it was only your router that got hit. As soon as I hear thunder close I unplug my computer.

Have started cutting up old jeans for the grand sons quilts. Am going to make them out of old jeans.
