CONGRATULATIONS GRANDMA KLAAS! She is just absolutely georgous. I know you can't wait to get your hands on her. Oh and please kiss those chubby little cheeks for me and those sweet lil lips. 
It is one thing to hold your babies, but something totally different to hold the grandbabies. I can still remember the feel of my first one in my arms. And then the other 6.
The toy chest is beautiful and love the blankie and hat. Just precious. Nothing more precious and such a Blessing to hold the child of your child.

And a grandma's real job is to spoil them rotten. hehe.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Darla! Joy is an understatement. Klass, I tend to hire my crocheting done...when my (lefty) mom tried to teach me...well, let'ss justt say i do knots very well. lol...Beautiful!
BTW, I got ya beat D, 9 total...still have yet to hold the newest(born in May) and it's killing me. 200 miles away is just plain wrong.

This is the blanket.  Hard to tell size in the photo.  It's about 50x36.  The hat I threw together, no pattern just did it real quick, like in an hour cause I had extra yarn.  I used some elastic that was from my grandmother's sewing basket in the hat around the edge before the ruffle to hold the hat on. (I changed the battery in my camera and forgot to reset the date)





I am impressed!!!!  I tried to crochet several times....what a mess!  LOL
