UPDATE: Missing Temecula high school student identified

Riverside County sheriff's deputies have released the name of the Temecula high school junior who disappeared after being dropped off for an early-morning class.

Saaimoana Migae, 16, has not been seen or heard from since talking with her mother via cell phone shortly after being dropped off at Chaparral High School. Her belongings, including shoes and a backpack, were later found on school grounds.

She is described as Samoan, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 275 pounds. She has long wavy black hair, brown eyes and may be wearing a dark blue hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on Saaimoana is asked to call Investigator Gorlicki at the the Temecula Police Department at 951-445-7527.

Her myspace is probably loaded with messages. She probably got a ride from a friend and went to that friend's house to use a computer.. that or someone hacked into her myspace.

I sent her message to her myspace asking her if she was the missing person from Temecula at about 10:15 and now she's not online on her myspace..

I saw a comment on her status that said "baby im tearin aht the eyes where was u"  so I clicked on the friends name and it took me to her page...on that page she wrote the comment "They fOUNd ANA im relieved"


Hate to make assumptions...but it sounds like they may have found her
Has anyone else seen any updates?

A missing Chaparral High School student was found in Riverside late Thursday and has been returned to her family, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Saaimoana Migae, 16, was found by UC Riverside Police about 9 p.m., said Sgt. Dennis Gutierrez. No other details were available.

The teen has been reunited with her family and she was not injured and no indication of foul play involved, Gutierrez said.
