Houston man arrested in attack of elderly woman

A 47-year-old Houston man has been arrested in the sexual assault of an elderly woman after police matched DNA samples at the scene to a database of past offenders.

Henry Price, Jr. is accused of waiting for the 80-year-old victim in her open garage about 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 23 then tying her up, stealing money from her purse, rummaging through her bedroom for jewelry and raping her, court records show.

Price was convicted of burglary in 1991 and aggravated assault of a peace officer in 1988. He remains in Harris county jail without bail. His attorney did not return calls for comment.
