..."but her attorney Amy Nguyen, said that they do not know why Smith has been charged."

Dearest new Ms. Lawyer

Perhaps your client going on the news saying when the detectives showed her the documents and asked if that was her hand writing and she said YES, and perhaps when your client then went on the news and said she did write Craig's name on the documents as she did not want to get a stranger in trouble could possibly be why she has been charged.

Perhaps knowingly filing false information on a court document could possibly be why she has been charged.

Perhaps there are many more perhaps's all on video from your own client's mouth and in your own clients loving the media attention (I am a star...look at me) words.

You must have missed the whole "it is not nice to lie to the courts when filing documents 101 class and you will be charged for filing false information with the courts 101 class ".

you hit the nail on the head.
I still think the documents Tammi had for custody of Gabriel were fake. There should be charges for that.

The former attorney was a 'death penalty Lawyer'...does this mean the Third charge is off the table?

Maybe Her attorney does not know you cannot lie on  a court document. She seems real young. Her client said it was a little white lie. On camera. Oh let's not forget the phone calls on audio tape of her client harassing Logan to sign the papers. Use of Audio and visual in a court is great idea don't you think? Gosh, do you think this attorney will tare Logan apart?

Hello Monkey's,

Would a serial number be inside of an expensive ring for insurance purposes?

I am not sure about that but I do know that for expensive jewelery the jewler would leave his mark on it somewhere.

Thanks, NoRose.

What if JS gave that to EJ?  He must have a collection of stuff from Wills... the way they operate, jmo.

LE may know where it came from and must be legit. jmo.

I think LE messed up with the ring IMO.  EJ clearly knew it had to be hid as why else would she tell Gramps that he needed to get it?

NoRose,

I respectfully disagree, LE, knows exactly where that bauble came from and my guess it is the S's.

Governor Requests Extradition for Jarred Harrell
Dave Wax  Ann Butler     1 hr ago

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The governor has stepped in to request that the person of interest in the murder of Somer Thompson be extradited from Mississippi.

This afternoon, Gov. Charlie Crist issued the following statement regarding Jarred Mitchell Harrell:

"After working closely with the Office of State Attorney Angela Corey in the 4th Circuit, today I requested that Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour grant the extradition of fugitive Jarred Mitchell Harrell to Florida, where he faces 29 counts of possession of child pornography.

"I am grateful for the Mississippi law enforcement officers who apprehended this dangerous suspect. It is crucial to remain vigilant in prosecuting crimes against our children. Those who perpetrate horrendous offenses against Florida's most vulnerable citizens must be brought to justice."

READ THE OFFICIAL REQUEST

Harrell was arrested last week in Mississippi on child porn charges.

Following his arrest, Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler held a news conference announcing that Harrell was also a person of interest in the Somer Thompson case. He used to live near Somer's home, and along her route home from school.

Harrell announced earlier this week that he was fighting extradition; in that case, the governor of the extraditing state must request permission for extradition from the governor of the state where the person is being held.

In October, 7-year-old Somer disappeared as she walked home from school in Orange Park. Her body was found a few days later in a Georgia landfill.

The shite cleaning business must be slow right now       to have to settle for a relatively Jr lawyer.
Could it be this attorney will barter?  You know exchange for goods and or services?

If she is defending many people like TS she probably gets fed lots of lines of shite!  Perhaps she does need a clean out!   Monkey Devil!

wanted to add, if you look at the photo, you can see that there is no stamp inside this particular ring, does not mean there was not on the one EJ had, but not on this one and at the retail value it sits at, would think it would have, so doubt EJ's did.

Underground Adoptions

The investigation into baby's Gabriel's disappearance has not turned up the baby, but it has revealed some ugly secrets about underground adoptions. Where people pay money, cars or even jewelry in exchange for a baby. So is that what really happened in baby Gabriel's disappearance? His father thinks so. After investigating for two months Fox News at Nine has learned about a dirty secret of how birth mothers are paid with expensive jewelry. That led Gabriel's father to police who admitted that the baby's mother had a ring worth close to $30,000 on her when she was arrested. Yami Virgin has this special report. Underground Adoptions

Something I wonder and that is how do we know for certain the value of the ring?  Was this what EJ told LE or was it confirmed?  What I am getting at is did she actually know for a fact that that is how much it was worth?  Or is she going on what someone told her?  Sure would be nice if they could get a warrant and take back the ring for analysis/evidence.

I was just thinking that. Actually if she did give Gabriel to someone and the payment was with a ring, wouldn't you want to take the ring to have it appraised first, otherwise they could be cheating you.

Exactly........which is why I wonder about the time she spent in SA - I mean she was there for a week so was part of that time spent verifying the value of the jewelry etc?

Baby Gabriel's Dad: Someone Has My Son

PHOENIX -- Despite a meticulous search under way in a Texas landfill, Logan McQueary plans a return trip to San Antonio to find his son. McQueary said he believes his son, Gabriel Johnson, is alive.

"I think he's with a couple that Elizabeth handed him off too. And we're going to find who it is," said McQueary.

Baby Gabriel was last seen with his mom, Elizabeth Johnson, in San Antonio the day after Christmas. A few days later, Johnson was arrested in Florida on charges of kidnapping and custodial interference. Gabriel was nowhere to be found.

Johnson originally told McQueary she had killed the baby and put him in the trash. She later changed her story and said she gave the baby away.

Investigating the original claim, San Antonio police identified a section of the Tessman Road Landfill where they might find evidence in the case. They excavated 30 feet and nearly 45 thousand tons of debris from a section of the landfill and today started phase two of their search.

A total of 35 workers will comb through the next layer of waste by hand and use cadaver dogs to support them.

"The dogs are trained to detect the scent of human decomposition and alert their handlers when they have located that so the dogs are searching for the odor of human decomposition," said Christy Bormann of the Alamo Search and Rescue team.

McQueary said he's not concerned with the landfill search.

"It doesn't matter to me. I think it needs to be just done and over with and that's what they're doing. The sooner the better it gets done with because I don't think Gabriel is there at all," said McQueary.

McQueary believes Johnson gave the baby away and whoever has him is scared to come forward because of all the media attention.

"They might be afraid that they're going to get in trouble. The truth is they're not. We're not looking for anybody to get in trouble, right now. All we want is for Gabriel to be returned. I want my son back," said McQueary.

McQueary is hoping money may bring someone forward with information about his son's whereabouts.

A fundraiser is set for this weekend to raise money to increase the reward for missing baby Gabriel. This event will run Friday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 21, at Manny’s Mexican Restaurant. New and upcoming performer “Chavo” will be performing his new singles, "El Presidente" and "Yo Quero Nada" mixing it up with his smooth beat.
