Janet your Canada is beautiful. I love the way they had the campaign to get Canadian athletes on the podium. It worked. Whoever came up with that campaign was genius!
Did you watch Ohno! His dad use to drive from Seattle every weekend so that his son could practice in Canada where the Olympics are being held. Last night he passed Bonny Blairs medal standing. And he still has 3 more events I think.

You know that bridge you talked about that you take your visitors to, the one that wobbels and sways with every step, they are showing it on TV right now. It's a death defying drop. Me, I'd be able to hop it. heh heh

As a kid I loved that bridge.  Today I hate it with a passion.  If we are entertaining out of town guests and ... circumstances dictate that there is no choice ... I hold my breath and walk as briskly as I can to the other side.  I never enjoy the attractions on the other side.  My mind cannot let go of the reality that the only way I can return to my world as I know it is going back the way I came.

I can bear the pain of losing Natalee if I can save another life.

HOLLOWAY: Not really on a personal level. I do not know how Dave is dealing with Natalee's loss. I do not think that that would be something that he and I would communicate with each other about (INAUDIBLE).

I think we worked really well together as a team for Natalee, and I am grateful for that. As far as where he is in the journey, I couldn't tell you.

Well ... I am off.  Hubby's family is getting together at a restaurant in Vancouver in honor of relatives who are here from Japan for the Olympics.  I cringe when I think about the traffic.  Thankfully ... son-in-law is driving our entire family (13).  He borrowed the church's mini bus.
