Well, that's a different slant on things.  I had never considered this aspect but it would fit as well as anything else.

Paulus had to be very disappointed with his life.  Joran was the apple of his eye, same for Anita.  That's why Joran ran the entire household.  And then to see his life destoryed as it has become.  Maybe some guilt in regard to causing it all on the part of Paulus as well.

Hard to know what happend.  I am sure it won't be long before Joran and Anita start to babble, however.  Maybe we will know more then.

A long time ago - when the board first opened... and some of you are still here... I said the chances of being abducted TWICE in one night was astronomical. I never said that that chance of being ASSAULTED twice in one night was out of the realm of possibility.

In this strange and bizarre case - one that always hung on DNA and forensics - there were two assaults. First Joran (which could have been consensual (minus the drinking and the Kalpoes)... we all know that no one on Aruba can give their consent when drinking.

However, one important clue is often overlooked. Papito towing took away both Sloot vehicles. Natelee must have been in one or the other. It's really that simple.

And to top that off, Joran says that Paulus used Anita's phone while she was away. It's easy to conclude that Paulus took Joran's phone and vd Straaten triangulated Paulus and not Joran. Joran had Paulus' or Anita's phone at home after Staish left and headed for Hooiberg.

I have always believed that Paulus was way deeper and his DNA would be found somewhere along the line - otherwise, why make the effort he has...protecting your son only makes sense if he's never going to get out of jail, but Joran was a minor and going to do two years on an accidental death - Paulus on the other hand was gonna do life. Which would have been 15 years and his recent tape release by Joran said - you need to think about us.. {paraphrased}{paraphrased} and now translated I will go to jail for a long time and your mother and brothers will suffer without my income.

The only thing left that doesn't make sense is - Deepak. MAYBE he really is THAT stupid. Hard to believe but he did enter a lawsuit he could never win.

Believe it or not, I had not considered a phone switching theory (in terms of triangulation)...
It even took me a while to grasp that Paulus participated in more than just the disposal.

However, and I have said many time before, nothing (i mean nothing) would surprise me in this case.

**How crazy was it that the father (a judge/lawyer) of the main murder/abduction suspect was allowed to see and modify interrogation statements made by his son? And to have upper hand knowledge hand delivered on a silver platter by Jan Van der Straaten, chief of police?

**I still wonder how the rock scene played into the night's equation...Was it a decoy? Remember a car's trunk slamming and the vehicle hurriedly driving awazy when approached by Dave Holloway? Or men in BioHazard suits painting large rocks and explaining that it was for safety of motorists?

**What has motivated Deepak and Satish to remain quiet for so long? Before alleged defamation (Skeeters)? Intimidation? Fear? If no money is gained from CA lawsuit, what relevance (besides liability) will they have to anything/anybody?

**As tightly monitered as a casino is, no matter the location (geographically), why has video footage never been released and and clearly verified to place Paulus VanderSloot at the casino tape next to Natalee?

**Jossy Mansur has always been cleverly and covertly two-faced. He know much more than he lets on, in my opinion.

**An "after hours" pool party has always seemed a likely venue to take tourists for Joran. His father (more than his mother) did not seem to discourage Joran's reckless lifestyle. The pool, with nearby private apartment quarters, seems way too convenient a spot to (a) gather with friends and fellow "pimps" and (b) sexually conquer (willing / unwilling) female tourists.

**Important characters probably met weekly, if not daily, in a "war room" setting to strategize deception and cover-up.

Yes, it is.  My impression after listening to Jossy's part of the interview again is that he has probably been instructed not to say anything about the cage. 

I hope he is right about the new Minister of Justice and that he will get things moving again towards resolution in Natalee's case very soon.

"Joran should have known again"
Joran van der Sloot again would have known that he had something to do with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

The cameras of RTL Germany in recent months he would have made a confession which again totally different from the confession he previously for the hidden cameras by Peter R. de Vries's itinerary. Following the new confession was again examined in Aruba, but that yielded nothing. The Chief Justice of Aruba has confirmed, writes De Telegraaf.
Body in marsh

In his new confession Joran would have said that the body of American teenager Natalee never been dumped into the sea, as he had declared for the hidden cameras by Peter R. de Vries. Natalee's body in a swamp in Aruba would be dropped.
Father's Funeral

Joran van der Sloot, who mostly spends his time in Thailand, was this week in the Netherlands. He attended the funeral of his father in Paul, who died of a heart attack on Aruba. Paul van der Sloot was cremated in Arnhem.

I think this is saying that Joran is admitting to dumping Natalee's body in the marsh and not the sea.

Joran confesses again

Joran van der Sloot has quietly in recent months back a completely different confession on his part in the disappearance of American Natalee Holloway case.

This confirms the Chief Prosecutor in Aruba, Mr. Peter Blanken. Van der Sloot in the story seems to have made an offensive to themselves once and for all as a credible and unstable person to portray. He still fears persecution. Van der Sloot made his confession to the new cameras from the German RTL. This week another interview scheduled with him, this time in Frankfurt. The makers probably find themselves in the hope that by the death of his father's "frank" and will play with more details.

Funeral

Van der Sloot has recently returned to our country. He was certainly last week attended the funeral of his father, who in Aruba died from cardiac arrest during a game of tennis. The Aruban former judge Paul van der Sloot was cremated in Arnhem.

Joran claims in his new reading, that Holloway's body was dumped into the sea never, as he said earlier during an undercover operation by crime journalist Peter R. de Vries. The body of the girl would now be "hidden" in a swamp on Aruba.

According to Chief Whites, this new confession led to renewed research. "But it soon became clear that this statement of lies and fantasy hangs together. Times are wrong, said witnesses deny." If he really wanted to tell the truth, Joran had said the exact spot, believes whites.
