Van der Straten obviously has some "friends" in the new Government.

Maybe Paulus was thinking the jig is up?

And STILL no results of that investigation into van der Straten and the first 10 days....

Maybe they're hoping everyone will forget about that?

John Kelly is on FOX discussing the latest news on this confession, nothing new perse but Tacopina released a statement which they read on air, stating Joran is "innocent" but "messed up psychologically due to this case" but there is no real evidence he killed Natalee.

across from the Mill Resort near the Westin.

That is nowhere near the Marriott that the recent reports are saying.  Renfro is trying to say it's the Bird Sanctuary and not the pond where the gardner witness saw Deepak's car (the pond near the Marriott).

The question is why is Renfro steering everyone in the wrong direction?

TxMom - thanks for posting this again.  Seeing it this morning was the first time I had this thought.

The very first impression of it this morning was the location of the two hands = one reaching up from the water toward the hand that was above the water.

Made me think of a scuba diver.  Made me think of Natalee's body topside on a boat, with a diver taking her down to the cage.  Or taking her down with the cage to ensure she stayed there.

My bet is Jacobs dies with his mouth full.   

And maybe one night when Van der Straten's had a few those eyeballs will come off that painting and attack his sorry azz!

Wishful thinking...but Van der Straten's "big one" will more than likely come when Anita shows up with her drawrrrrlings and wants him to sell them for her in the Westin art gallery!

Night #1 - hide the body in the pond (I still say Joran's shoe is likely stuck in the mud in that pond)

Night #2 - as instructed by PVDS, take the body out to sea (Male DNA = Natalee)

I wonder what kind of DNA could be determined following 2 1/2 years at  the bottom of the ocean.  Why did the FBI not release this information?

DAVE HOLLOWAY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY`S FATHER: Well, what they were doing, I think, was the pond that they drained, they feel like possibly he may have been cutting across the beach, back to the racquet club, and got stuck in the mud and lost his shoes.

That`s the only plausible explanation I could think of. The police have not told me specifically what the reasoning is, but, as you`re well aware, the gardener pinpointed them at the racquet club in her vehicle. So I think the shoes may have been lost, maybe cutting across the field from the beach area. Other than that, I really don`t know.

FBI: Fabric Found In Aruba Not Natalee

An FBI analysis of fabric collected from a crab trap off Aruba showed the material did not match clothing worn by missing American Natalee Holloway, prosecutors said Tuesday.

The fabric was recovered in January by Aruban divers in about 90 feet of water as they searched for the body of the missing teenager, the public prosecutor's office said in a statement.

The FBI compared the material to a blouse worn by Holloway, who was 18 when she disappeared on the final night of a high school graduation trip to the island in May 2005. The results "showed that the two materials were not a match," the statement said

Precisely!  Richardson sent nothing to the FBI for two weeks after all was recovered.  No doubt, what they sent was not even from that cage.
