Big difference between the Marriott pond and the Bird Sanctuary.  Think I'll wait to hear more of the Jaap interview on RTL before believe one over the other.

The Bird Sanctuary was very muddy and large and Tim Miller was unable to do a complete search of that area IIRC.

The Marriott pond was searched at the end of July 2005 when the attempted to drain it.  They searched and drained for days then SUDDENLY stopped.  This area is more likely if you believe the gardener witness.

SO, we have Joran once again CONFESSING that he dumped Natalee in a "swamp". Joran REFUSES to come to Aruba to "show them where".
Now you have the OM saying that they can't/won't arrest Joran IF he comes to Aruba????????????????????????????? ............... and they are still puzzled why Aruba CONTINUES to get bad publicity!!!

I guess on Nancy Grace, the new OM Blanken couldn't hear Dave Holloway's offer to provide a search team to search this area?  Surely now, however, Dave will be in touch with him and let him know that searching this is not a problem. 

Why do I have the distinct feeling that this will be rejected on the basis of preserving the sanctuary so as not to disturb the birds?  Sort of makes for a perfect hiding place, doesn't it?  They can always say they can't disrupt the nesting, etc.

It was a member at GNC, and we traced the lat/long from where they were posting.  It was on Beatrixstraat.

That is why I was curious when the Jenny Geerman name finally came up, and Klaas found an address for him in Palm Beach.  The location looked (to me, lol) to be right next to Beatrixstraat, but I'm terrible with maps and haven't been able to pinpoint it more closely.

When you were searching those March articles about Golba and his pooch, did you happen to run across any - dated in March - with statements from the flight attendant?  TIA!

Why yes, Anna!  I remember the fuss and accusations made about the turtle eggs so I am pretty sure you are right and that they will not allow a search team in the bird sancturay without making yet another one.

I think once again that Glenda/Renfro is FOS.  According to the Amigoe article the pond is near the MARRIOTT, not the Bird Sanctuary near the Mill Resort.

That is nowhere near the Marriott that the recent reports are saying.  Renfro is trying to say it's the Bird Sanctuary and not the pond where the gardner witness saw Deepak's car (the pond near the Marriott).

The question is why is Renfro steering everyone in the wrong direction?

She's been doing that from day 1.
