Police: 3-month-old baby snatched from mother's arms safely home again
November 2, 2010

A 3-month-old baby who was snatched from her mother's arms, is safely home again, Boynton Beach police report.

Details of the Z'Yanna Wright's recovery are expected later this morning.

Police say the 3-month-old was taken by her father, Daniel Leonard Wright, after fighting with the baby's mother.

Police are searching for Wright, 37, who they say showed up at the home in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue at 8 p.m. Monday got in a fight with his ex-girlfriend, Kindsey Schildt, "smacked Schildt in the face" and snatched the baby out of the woman's hands, according to information in the Boynton Beach media briefing log and information issued by spokeswoman Stephanie Slater.

The mother has sole custody of the baby.

Wrights did not have a car seat, nor any formula or diapers for her, Slater said. He faces charges of parental abduction and child neglect.

Great news Muffy!

That guy needs to be

ITA.  Little baby Z'yanna was in danger, because someone with selfish, mean, vindictive thoughts and actions took  her without regard to her safety, health and well being.  I'm really sorry she wasn't taken care of while she was missing, but I'm so grateful she's been found, and I hope she soon recovers from the time of neglect.  I don't know how long a little baby can make it without basic care, and I'm grateful he didn't just ditch her somewhere or worse.  All he seemed to be about was taking something (someone) dear from the mother and causing her pain.  It didn't matter it was another tiny human being with feelings and needs.     And of course, it's all JMHO.  Again, I'm so glad little Z'yanna has been found alive and it appears she will recover from the ordeal.
