I have a thought on the back doors always locking. It was an undercover car. Don't the cop cars lock in the back to prevent the person from hopping out? They should have caught that if they were so worried about being set up. But I'm glad they didn't!!

ty grizzie - that's my immediate reaction - run it's a cop.  But maybe it's because I have never been in that situation?!

As for the Joe Overstreet picture, it was listed in the archives of the Palatka Daily, it was in archives from Feb 10-14 but the date in the caption says the 16th.  It is from the early days, but I have no idea when it was taken.

I believe they used that picture on the front page of the paper on the anniversary of Haleigh's disappearance, that's what was being said on Twitter anyway.

I have no idea why they would lie, I'm sure it's not the only lie that's been told.

In that one video where Misty is wearing a black jacket and Ron and Hope are in the backseat, Ron is giving some kind of hand signals to Hope. Wonder what that was all about? Hope is sitting back there, she sure doesn't seem to have much personality. And then when Misty and Hope get back in the car, and Hope gives Ron a handful of pills, it sure looks like Ron popped one in his mouth.

Heart that is what I am pinning my hopes and dreams on right now.  I'm more than willing to look at other avenues tho.  I just want the whoever(s) to pay.  You know what I mean.

I have a hard time believeing that Haleigh a bright smart five, almost six yr old saw some pills and thought they were candy and od'ed that is my problem with the whole other side of this.  The statistics just aren't there.  We have discussed lollies and such till I'm blue in the face.  These people are not that sophisticated.  They are doing roxies and meth and crap drugs or coke.  And Haleigh is as an intelligent little lady.  I've seen children reared around drug parents they know what mom & dad's special candies are and what to stay away from especially at 5.
