I know most don't believe, but while SM was down most of the day I was browsing other sites and noticed that Ger had also taken pic;s of the mobile home in Satsuma and was shocked to see the same "round cirlces" orbs or whatever thet are in her own photos of the trailer that Ron/Misty lived in and just thought it was really odd:

Filing "Notice of Unavailability" during litigation

An effective tool of management is to assure that you are allowed to have your vacation without surprise attacks from your opposing counsel. When in litigation, preparing and filing with the Court (and serving opposing counsel) a "Notice of Unavailability" will go a long way to prevent sudden motions or deposition settings, etc. when you plan to be out of town for more than a few days.

This idea came to me in the late 1990s; it was not commonly used and most people never heard of it at the time. Something in the last few days brought the idea back to me. I asked the question on a couple of listservs whether anyone ever heard of this Motion, whether anyone was using this approach. I was pleased to see that lawyers from States as diverse as California, Florida, Georgia, New York and others seem to be aware of this procedure and some courts even have formal rules providing for such procedures.

Though still not widely discussed, this is a good technique to manage one's priorities and control one's own time ... Take the time for "renewal" (sometimes otherwise called "vacation") without worrying about someone back home seeking to take advantage of you and your client during your temporary absence from the office.

Hello, Ive been busy lately but I check here everyday to see if there is any news yet, I cant believe its been over a year later and still we are no closer to knowing what happened to little HaLeigh then we were when all this began.
  I remember the day I took those photo's and I didnt even know what orbs were then, after I posted the pictures is when everyone started saying what they were and thats when I did a little research on them, Im still not convinced if I believe or not, but I can tell you one thing, I have taken pictures alot in Satsuma, and around that area and with the same camera, and none of the other pictures have these orbs in them but the ones pointed straight at the mobile home. I also know the feelings I get when I get close to that area, it could be just the thought of what might have happened there, or it could be something trying to tell me that danger was there, I dont know, I just know that I dont have a doubt anymore that something terrible happened to HaLeigh at that home, and that she is possibly still in that are somewhere, I dont know when she will be found, but I still think she will eventually. until that time, I hope God holds her close until it is revealed what happened to her and why, and who was responsible!

County OKs plan to track meth makers

Putnam commissioners unanimously supported a new program Tuesday that will allow the sheriff's office to track methamphetamine producers through their purchases in Putnam County.

The program, titled "Meth-Check," requires retailers that sell cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine or ephedrine - one of the ingredients used in making methamphetamine - to electronically record each purchase to determine potential meth producers.

"They take it and cook it down to its most active ingredient," Maj. Gary Bowling of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said. "People smoke it, inject it into their veins and people die over it."

A person must show identification to purchase cold medicine, which is currently hand-recorded. By law, no more than 9 grams of cold medicine can be purchased by a person per month.

With the new program, the person's ID will be scanned into the system with each purchase, allowing the sheriff's office to track repeat purchases.

Bowling said that Bay, Clay and several other counties around the state and nation already use the program, and that it will allow them to better understand what is going on with meth production in Putnam County.

Bowling seemed confident it would be a team effort throughout the county.

"It gives us the best tool we can fight with right now," he said.

All commissioners spoke in support of the program, adding the ordinance in a 5-0 vote. The program will be effective in 30 days, and will use equipment provided by the sheriff's office, Bowling said.

Meanwhile, plans for the Nine Mile Swamp project were brought forward by the Putnam Land Conservancy. No decision could be made on a funding contract due to paperwork revisions.

Cathy Cantwell of the Putnam Land Conservancy said the project will encompass a 1,200-acre parcel adjacent to other conservation lands in the county, and will be as close as three miles from downtown Palatka. It will include bike, hiking and equestrian trails, hunting, camping, a fishing pier and a basketball court.

She said the first step would be a land appraisal to determine how much will be needed for a required 10 percent match.

Later, an Interlachen resident requested that he be able to park his dump truck on his property, arguing that RVs of greater weight than his truck were allowed in the same neighborhood.

Commissioners decided against amending the ordinance that prohibits commercial trucks from the area, however agreed the rule needed to be mandated to others to be fair.

Commissioners approved the acquisition of Georgetown Riverfront Park and amended the budget for the addition of a $350,000 CDBG Economic Development Grant to be received this year for certain infrastructure.
