What a sweet, beautiful little girl.  She looks just like her mother...that woman has a world of regrets!  I pray that she is still alive and safe, sounds unlikely...but I prefer to believe.

I remember way back when the story broke. I really thought they would find her in a day or two at the most.

Just horrific that she has not yet been found.

Something that really concerns me is the dogs hitting on the dumpster.  It seems like I recall reports of three different dogs hit on it.  I know that something as small as a band-aid used for Haleigh couldn't have been why...but, is it like Amber's case...being that the dogs were correct?  Was something there that was used?  Was she there at some point?  I pray not...but it has always stuck with me.

I remember watching that dumpster footage live that day.

It did seem odd that several dogs alerted on it.

But I think they have ruled out any connection to Haleigh. I tend to believe that is probably the case, myself.

My notes from Feb.26, 2009:

Late Thursday afternoon, investigators went to the neighborhood behind Haleigh Cummings' house and began searching through a construction dumpster. After 5 p.m., the search moved into the Villas neighborhood, which is just on the other side of a fence from where Ronald and Haleigh Cummings' house is. First Coast News Erich Spivey says investigators were following a tip from area neighbors. This has been their busiest day in about a week. It is not clear if this is the first time this area has been searched, or specifically what searchers are after as they looked through the large dumpster. But after four hours of searching, investigators did not find anything in the dumpster pertaining to the case.
Dozens of detectives and heavy equipment were brought in to search a large trash container after three search dogs alerted authorities of a scent. After four hours of sifting through garbage, no body was found. The scent was reported to have stemmed from a personal hygiene item.

When was nay's accident (hit and run).? this the day misty saw a pic of 'WBG" and had to have him. I recall the day was about the 27th or so january. this puts that about two weeks before the crime. I was always led to believe they had just hooked up the Friday before (the 6th of Feb). I hope we are not being lied to again. Nays accident and the time that LE caught up with her was in front on WBG's mother house. She invited the girls inside.

My gut tells me that misty was totally smitten with this guy. I doubt they simply had a two day fling and forgot each other. I say this because wbg admits to contacting her on Feb 9. He says misty was going to the hospital to see her dad and didn't return the call. I wonder about that.
Is it possible that nay, misty and he did  hook up later that night? She may have even told them she has drugs for them.

So how long after the 27th of january did misty hook up with wbg?

We were told they just met for the first time about the 5/6th of February. We were told this by WBG. So far every detail of this case has been off in hours or days.

I can certainly see why LE has to try and piece this mess together. We have a bunch of drug addicts who have a difficult time remembering dates, hours and places....good grief and good luck. They need it!
