sorry if this has been asked already but how far is the search being done from the mobile home she dissapeared from??

This boat ramp/landing is about 5 miles from Haleigh's home on 202 Green Lane in Satsuma.

It is closer to Great Grandma Sykes' home. I put this together because I was curious about how close her home is:

Reposting this info to refresh our memories........

The Croslins say about two weeks before Haleigh disappeared, Joe and Haleigh's dad, Ronald Cummings, had an issue over a gun. "He stole Ronald's gun. One morning, on the porch, said, Ronald will get what's coming to him. It was dropped, he left and Haleigh was gone," says Lisa Croslin.

Police confirm they are investigating the information about the stolen gun.

A week and a half ago, when police were asked if Joe was a suspect police said, "The one in Tennessee? No, he is not at all."
But then later, police changed their comment to no one has been ruled in or out as a suspect.

I hate to be so crude, but what type of evidence could possibly still be there, a body would have been disarticulated and then the pieces moved by the currents and well I think you get the picture , but what could they have found???? Only of she were put in some type of container (crab trap etc) would there be a chance of finding her IMO. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, just my take on things.

tip - physical evidence in the river according to tipster is being reported now. 3-5 feet below the sedement.

I get the impression by the looks on some of the faces that they have been given the bad news - it appears Crystal may have a kleenex or tissue in her hand........I am with you IM after work I am pouring a good drink.

Even Fields makes it sound like MC gave up *something* -- *finally*! And hopefully something besides another LIE.

A break may have come in the case from Misty Croslin, who was with Haleigh and the youngster's brother the evening before the kindergartner disappeared. Her attorney said Croslin, who is jailed on drug trafficking charges may have provided helpful information that led to other leads.

"This latest search was based on information from someone else," said attorney Robert Fields. He said Croslin may have "shed some light" on who was responsible.

"Somebody else has possibly been implicated in this," he said. "You need to look away from Misty."

Investigator just came on 4 live now with reporter to say "no presser right now" waiting for Sheriff.   Misty was taken out of St Johns jail, cant tell when she was moved, what vehicle she was put in or where she is going.   Reporter met up with Misty's father, Hank Sr and asked what he knew..."if the detectives cant tell me, then I cant tell you....leave me alone I dont want to talk"

That my monkeys smacks to me that whatever is going on implicates Misty and/or Tommy, that is my gut
