I wonder if there was not some sort of weight involved.  After all this time to expect anything to be in the same area of water would seem to be a long shot.  Wasn't there initially some talk about cement blocks around the home? I wonder if something like that wasn't used a weight.

Maybe buried under thick layer/s of silt?

They did make mention that they were looking 3 to 5 feet under the silt.  They said that they had laptops down there so they must have pretty sophisticated equipment

that is interesting.  this sounds awful, but I bet they are looking for a container of some sort.

This day will surely go down in infamy if they find two missing children in one day! Praise God for the safe return of Nadia and bless little Haleigh as she makes her way home again. Poor lil thing, she didn't deserve this.

Sad news.... but yet I agree this baby girl needs proper services.   Anyone have a clue on the person in custody already?  I have not been watching the booking log in the last couple weeks.

Thanks

Do they not keep boys and girls separated in jail?  Also, how does she have drug charges in both counties but not him?

I bet they have Misty under tight security, someone is going to kill her when they find out for sure she had something to do with that baby girls death!!!

Hi BOO....I agree...........my thoughts exactly
When all this is said and done, and Misty is the source for this info and it doesn't point to Ron....it's going to take him and his adoring family about a nano second to figure out that their son/bro/gson  is in jail facing some hard time because of her. If she would've spilled way back Ron boy wouldn't have been selling pills with her, guess he'll pay for that choice in a lot of ways.

IMO, every single person in her life (except her teacher) failed her. And failed her miserably.

This is where they have been since they were first arrested and Ronald was moved from St Augustine back to Putnam, thats just how they have had them the entire time.. I didnt say Ronald didnt have charges in St. Johns County, just that Misty did..

If indeed it is true, that there is a suspect in custody, (reported by only one news source so far) ... then it is THE question of the moment.

Hi Monkeys!

Long time no see, but I've still been following the news on Caylee and Haleigh.  It's been a big day around Central FL with Nadia being found safe, thank GOD!  Now to wait and see if they find anything out about Haleigh.  Good to hear there is someone in custody.

Hope you all have been doing ok.

this boat ramp at shell harbour is pretty isolated, and the place is very big and very close to HaLeighs house, I have every reason to belive this is exactly where they tool that poor little girl, this is a very sad day...

Don't know about this, but here we go. This is also the poster that broke the news about the Mondex search.

# I didn't expect to be able to contact & get in touch w/ this person so quickly but being that I did I wanted to get this bit out..     9 minutes ago  via web

Thought I heard them say that Tommy was brought down to the area where the search is being conducted, but there was alot of background noise 11 minutes ago via web

I had less than a 3 minute conversation w/ the person who was able to tell me this & we are set to speak again this evening.. 12 minutes ago via web

Ok .. I can see ya'll now.. Was told that Tommy has confessed that him & Joe did infact take & kill Haleigh.. 13 minutes ago via web

unless whatever it is they are searching for was buried (and we all surmise that is Haleigh) - it can only be under roughly one year's worth of silt / debris.

That's called "a" ott - for one year worth of natural debris or silt.

aa ott for two years

aaa ott for three years

It is closer to GGM Sykes house. I found that interesting.

~5 miles to Green Lane, ~2 miles to 4th Avenue.

We really need more information! I am so anxious to learn more.

Attorney: Haleigh Cummings' father filing for divorce
updated 8:40 a.m. EDT, Wed October 7, 2009

Misty Cummings, then known as Misty Croslin, was the last person known to have seen Haleigh the night she disappeared from the family's rented mobile home. The teenager said she tucked Haleigh and her 4-year-old brother into bed about 8 p.m. and went to sleep herself two hours later, but awoke at 3 a.m. to find the girl missing and a cinder block propping open a back door.
