Moguls

Dang, I missed a whole hour of the coverage cos a dear, hot-since-we-were-teens-could-be-the-father-of-our-son-but-no-way-would-be friend (dh's best friend for life) who called from the west coast to check on me. He wants a pic of me in my red boots at the jail...which I will do this week! He's so cool, when I told him about a lady I know who has another kind of cancer and has to do 16 chemos like mine, and that makes me feel like my cancer is just a pimple on my butt, he said "Exactly! There's always someone who has it worse than you". I like hearing that from other people, as I've realized it all along. Don't treat me like a victim, treat me like a person who has a plan, a roadmap, and this stupid cancer is just another bump in the road.

so, it was great to talk to him, but I hope I didn't miss all the moguls, I love those things! I like that some sports are getting closer to X-games like stuff (snowboarding!!!!).

Thanks to you all for keeping me up to date....

And JSM< tomorrow after Mass I will tell DH that I know a Gold Medal Skater!!!!

Congrats JSM...thats quite an achievement after being as sick as you were...see you just can't keep a good monkey down. 

  Thanks so much mymonkey. Sick, then the weather and I didn't learn the end of the program until Thursday. I just knew I would forget what to do at the end.

I wish we had a monkey holding up a Maple leaf like the one holding the heart. I know if Brandi sees this, she will be glad to make one as she is a great monkey maker.

How sweet you got a call from your friend. Teyve cancer is a bump in the road and you have passed that bump!! Moguls make me cold and my knees hurt  I don't think your DH will be too impressed with the Gold medal winner that you know.  I went to Mass tonight even tried to go to confession to get it over with before Easter, the line was so long I finally just said screw it. I don't know what those kids at college must confess for so long  Maybe they should let the old ladies go first and the line will go quicker.

Nope.  In Olympic hockey if there is a tie for the medal games they look at points to decide which team goes through.  Every goal is needed.
