I usually buy the movies when they come out on DVD...cheaper than going to the movies...
and the matinees are not a whole lot cheaper...say a few bucks but the snacks cost the same...

I used to buy the movies but then they mostly just sit in a drawer so now we go out to the movies a couple of times a month and see it on the big screen instead of buying movies.  One of our favorite places is a place where you can eat dinner while watching the movie and not too pricey on the food.  As for getting in we can get the senior rate which isn't too bad.  I just enjoy seeing movies on the big silver screen... so to speak.

Your right, the matinees are not that much cheaper anymore. I've been collecting a lot of old movies, especially all of Alfred Hitchcock, and I'm a huge fan of Barbara Stanwyck  I have to go now over to JoAnn Fabrics and Target. Hope you enjoy the roller derby, and bananas hope you enjoy the movie.

Your right, the matinees are not that much cheaper anymore. Just popping in to say my computer was delivered yesterday, connected last night, and I have a few weeks ahead of me to get all my programs reinstalled. LOL

I swear, I don't know how people get new computers and function normally. I have so much stuff to get back. At least I have most of my files saved. Not all the install files, though. But I will slowly get back to myself.

I am 14 pages behind here since reading yesterday, and I hope you forgive me, but I simply do not have time to read all of those posts.

JSM, this is a keeper...............when and where was this taken? I have been watching the Olympics and love all the skating....oh heck I love all of it!   

Hi Sunny, it was taken last year at Star's on Ice. Evan was the Special Guest that night. He was really nice to us elderly skaters

After the Gold medal run in the skeleton last night a walk to a live interview and a random person hands him a jug of beer (notice Mr. Security has the brain cells to allow it to happen and not slap away a good jug of beer    ) .  Beer goes up on stage during interview, parents, gf and sisters all take turns drinking as interview progresses.  It is my highlight of the games!  I think we just started a new tradition - gold medal and a jug of Molson's. 

That's the ginger haired guy I was trying to think of today. He is HAWT. I am glad he won and got beer after.

  OMG you monkeys are killing me with your Tiger Woods descriptions. Funny thing I listen to Sports Radio and on the golf show today, the guys were dogging Tiger. I was shocked that guys would have the same opinion about him as we monkey women do. In fact, they were really really dogging him. Saying if he is so sorry about what he did, why didn't he apologize at the time instead of waiting 80 days. 

I love Roller Derby, always wanted to be a Roller Derby girl when I was little. It looked so much fun and when my parents would leave us at the roller rink I would practice being a roller derby girl on my little sister. Then I got in trouble so that put an end to my dreams.
