I could never skate on dance blades. I would bust my arse.

How are dance blades different? toe picks?

Not the toe picks the blades end at the edge of the heel. Figure skates go farther back past the heel. Dance blades are shorter so you can skate closer and your partner not trip over the back of the blade

OMG, yes, I would totally be on my arse all the time!! Picks I can live without, but not the back of my blades!

Canadians:

Guy in lavender shirt, seriously???..need I say more? ANd a scarf for a belt, on the guy!!! Her outfit is nice, although it looks like someone's little sister took the scissors to it. But very pretty! But the music will be great...ya hooo!!

My favorite part of the skating is the music, I LOVE classical music...and then throw a little (WOW! did you see that mount/hold? awesome!) Queen in, on the violin no less, I'm gonna ignore his lavendar and give them a 9 for fashion.

OH My, this is the same little girl I saw at skate camp that wore old man sweats and leg warmers. 

I think Johnnie Weir broke into her costume closet and left his twinkly bra for her to wear as well as the baubles and crystals from the bottom of grandma's lamp (glad he left the plastic protection on the lamp and not on her costume)

I had time to google Mom Jeans, thank goodness I don't own a pair! If I ever buy some like that, someone just shoot me!! I'd rather wear a skirt. My mom wears Mom Jeans, but she's 85 and can do any damn thing she wants!

(Whew! Mom Jeans would look really gross with red cowboy boots, doncha think?)

And why I'm such a fashionista all of a sudden is beyond me. I'm a jeans/nice shirt/blazer or skirt and blouse kinda gal. In the summer, I like skirts that look horrid on me, long cotton ones. I look like I just got off the boat from Romania but nothing beats cotton for cool and covering the pale white Michigan legs! TMI???
