Darla,I have to keep my eyes open.This weekend the neighbor at the end of the street set the woods on fire and almost burned down all of us around her.Oh yeah,couple of fire trucks,extra water truck.I just got some snacks and me and the little Sidekick watched from the upstairs window.You should have seen everyone moving their boats and Sea Doos.   

LOL, we had an old man across the street from us and he would take his trash out in the back of his house in the middle of a broomstraw field and set it on fire at least once a week. It got to the point when we called 911 we just said send firetrucks to Arthur's house. They knew who it was . His house finally burned several years back.
I had to laugh about the binoculars...my landlord who lived next door to me always kept a pair by his chair. He would tell me to go get his clippers and trim the hedge out by the road so he could see better. lol

I hope you trimmed the hedges good so he could see

You guys cracked me up with your Play by plays of the Olympics. Tevye you are a hoot with the fashion commentary. I am so happy that you had your last Chemo and pray that you are on the way to a full recovery. You are such an inspiration. I am sure your positive attitude had a lot to do with your recovery. Hi Greeneyes......I too felt so sorry for the girl whose mother passed away. I don't know how she continued to skate. It is sad that she has no siblings. I would love to see her win the gold medal.

Morning Monkeys. I hope everyone is doing well this morning. BTW, I am going to bed at 8 pm tonight. My old body can't take staying up until past eleven.

I fell asleep last night during skating.   

I have knocked out the cage twice.

I have been checking some of it out.
I was busy watching my neighbor next door with my binoculars.You know they are divorcing and he is trying to put off signing the papers,yada yada.   
He was there for approximately 52 minutes and upon leaving she walks out and does the old bend over and pick up anything in the yard so he gets a good shot at what he ain't getting anymore.   
I know my friend next door isn't home or she would have kicked both of their a**es.   
Now to walk the dog.

I am on a roll!
Round 3 with the workman's comp case worker.We have a winner!   
They were trying to order hubby for evaluation saying he has reached maximum benefit on his therapy and release him.I said I don't think so.   
His surgeon ordered another month of therapy with a possible 3rd and painful surgery,so the lawyer just sent the caseworker a nasty letter and then she contacted me.   
I do not like being talked down to.Period.I am not the brightest bulb in the box,but I do have an education.I don't have to brag or impress anyone.   
Oh how I despise that woman.   
Anyway,I will try to catch up now.

Yep....he and his wife were up in their 80's and he owned all 6 houses on this side of the street. I was his handy man lol. I was the maid, their cook, painter, electrician and plumber, and gardener. And he died in my arms in 2005. His wife is now in a nursing home..she is in her mid nineties. I really miss them.

We had a neighbor across the street and my oldest grandson and I would hit the porch swing on Saturday afternoon to watch the fights between this guy and his wife. He would come in drunk and they would get started. She threw a brick through a friends windshield, and he drug her out by the hair, then she would throw all his clothes outside. It was entertaining.
