He just puked again. I called to see which vet was going to be there tomorrow. The only one I will let touch Josef other than his regular one is in surgery tomorrow. I am beginning to get so worried. It is almost like he has been poisoned. I am going to shut up now about Josef. Thanks for all your prayers.

I don't know what to do for Josef. He just threw up again while we were outside, yet he tried to chase a cat into the bushes and I had to break my back to keep him from getting it. If I call the vet, they will tell me to bring him in and the on call vet will want to do all kinds of stuff that I can't afford and Joe doesn't need. Please monkeys, pray that I am doing the right thing and waiting until tomorrow.

JSM A vet told me years ago when my dog was vomiting  that I shoud give him some Pepto Bismol.  I've used it for sick dogs ever since.  I use about a teaspoon for Charlie who weighs 45 pounds.  Just put it in a syringe without a needle or an eyedropper.  Squirt it in his mouth.  It usually helps.  But I do know also that if a dog vomits repeatedly, he can become dehydrated.  I will pray for Josef and hope he is better in the morning.  Usually my vet gives an antibiotic shot and pills for repeated vomiting and it doesn't cost much.  Must be more expensive in Dallas.  Anyway, I hope he's OK.  Somehow we've all become attached to Josef even though we don't know him.  We love him vicariously, I think.

Baby that is so sweet that you love him vicariously. I don't think I have any pepto bismol. He is asleep right now. He just went outside and peed a bunch, but didn't want to come inside. I had to drag him up the stairs. The emergency vet is very expensive and that is the clinic Josef goes to, but his regular vet won't do all kinds of stupid tests, etc than if I took him in tonight. If he chucks up again tonight, we are on our way to the vet. I swear we went through this during the last Olympics. He hates skating. Kiss Charlie for me. 

I will kiss Charlie for you if I can get close enough without getting suffocated. OK, he stinks, but I love him.  If Josef is sleeping he probably feels better. Let us know in the morning how he's doing.  It just sounds dreadful what you went through at work today.  I hope they give you combat pay for putting up with raw sewage in your workplace.
Check in as soon as you can tomorrow.  We all are concerned about sweet Joe.

One more thing I've noticed, when she gets sick she goes off by herself and doesn't want attention. Maybe that is what Josef is doing also. I hope he feels better in the morning  Good night everyone.

Mind on Fire, if my head were ablaze, I probably couldn't sleep either.  Do you have a fire extinguisher handy?  Just kidding.  I know that not being able to sleep is the lonliest feeling. At around three AM you feel as if you are the only human being awake in the whole world.

Brandi pimped me out - the fire was much smaller in the beginning, but now I'm really HOT lol.

Yeah, I can see that the fire is growing.  You'll probably never get to sleep tonight.  Have any marshmallows?

Oh Baby, nothing is better than a stinky dog. As far as work, no combat pay, just a bit of thanks from the bosses. That is worth it.  I will let y'all know how he is doing tomorrow. He is asleep right now. I hope that means he is getting better. He never pukes like this, so I know something isn't right.

Some time, JSM, would you please explain to me the difference between an axle, a toe loop, and a flip.  I know it has to do with how and with what part of the foot you take off.
