JSM's BEGGING FOR BAN THREAD #13 2/13/10 -

BBL, gotta get ready for Mass, then go see my little man in the hospital. Then come home to watch the hockey game. I hope it is on NBC.

Give Josef a hug from me  I turned on tv this morning and there were couples doing the figure skating. I just fell in love with the cute little couple from Canada, their routine was spunky and they were great 

I will give him a hug from you and all the monkeys. I love the Canadians as well, they are great.

They were so cute  Now go to church, and when you go see Josef he may have stopped having diarrhea. Wonder where he picked that up at? Maybe some other pup at the lodge had it.

We can't figure out where he picked it up. The vet is thinking he may have gotten into something, and he is known to sniff in trashbags while we are walking or licking the sidewalk. So I don't know, probably from walking around these d*mn apartments where nobody picks up their dog poop, even though there are free poop bags all over the apartments. 

It's disgusting, we have areas in my neighborhood with bags and trash cans, and still people don't pick up. I don't get it at all. Who knows what Josef could have picked up, in the grass, licking something. Zoe is the same way, the other day she licked up something on the street while we were crossing, and I opened her mouth to see, but she ate whatever it was 

We have those trash cans with the bags, and I will be d*mn if there is dog poop right next to the trash can. Joe does that too. Usually I can get him to spit it out, but who knows what he licked or ate. He also likes to stick his head in trash bags that people throw out too soon and wild critters get into it during the night.

Happy Sunday to you  No brunch, the two of them are going to Long Beach to the aquarium. So I said to her, what about the brunch, oh, we can still have breakfast, where at McDonalds, because there isn't a lot of time before you have to go to Long Beach. So now we are back to supper again, I told her, you have been out to eat with his parents, so now it is time for us too look him over. So now let's see how this plays out.

Well, at this point, I'd be pulling my daughter's hair (literally) and reminding her of her manners. THEN I'd tell her that you and Pa are so busy, maybe you can do brunch next month. You are not "on call" anymore! (oiy, I think I'm grumpy today!)

JSM I had a gastro thing happen to me years ago, sounds like what Josef has, I had to be admitted to the hospital, and it took days to feel better. So I'm sure he is on the mend and will be running around soon. 

That had to be miserable No Rose. I am glad you got better.

I don't know, it was the day after Thanksgiving, and I know it wasn't from overeating the day before, because I already was not feeling right. If Josef is eating like a horse, he is definitely feeling better 

He didn't seem as good as he did yesterday, but I think the medicine he is taking now makes him lethargic. He was barking so loud when we went outside, he set someone's car alarm off.

JSM: Glad Josef is showing signs of improvement. I was thinking maybe the antibiotics he was getting is also contributing to the diarrhea problem. Nevertheless, I am confident he is in good hands and will be fine very soon!

Digger on the other hand.....well he has been outside dragging a dead squirrel around.   

Maybe that is what Joe needs some of that yogurt for belly problems. How does Digger not get sick draggin dead animals around the yard.

I didn't get to talk to the vet. There were two emergencies going on and animal owners crying and all. One girl was sitting on the sidewalk outside bawling and Josef tried to go over and lick her tears. I wouldn't let him, but no matter how loud he barks and bites me, he always wants to give love to people crying.
