Hazmat crews called to Utah IRS building

Associated Press - March 1, 2010 3:15 PM ET

OGDEN, Utah (AP) - A newspaper reports that hazardous materials crews are at an Internal Revenue Service building in Odgen, about 35 miles north of Salt Lake City.

The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reports that the crews were called to the building Monday morning. Television reports showed several emergency vehicles outside the building.

A message left by The Associated Press for the FBI was not immediately returned Monday. The Weber County sheriff's office said it did not have any information on the incident.

Now I just had to call the vet for antibiotics, Zoe has a UTI again. I came downstairs and luckily I watched where I was going or I would have slipped on the kitchen floor from the urine. I'm going to take her out again, she is on the couch and I noticed urine so I'm going to have to take the pillow and blanket off to wash it. My husband is going to pick them up after work, poor thing

Some good news  When I was out just now walking a Cupcake Dog, sorry I don't know what kind of pup that is, ran past, and those eyes were watching us 

It is reported that Stains is an Australian Shepherd.

Stains must be a mini, as he has way less feathery hair than our Ozzie, who's a full sized Aussie Shepherd. And, Ozzie has one blue eye and one brown, and a butterfly on his nose. Good for him, makes him "unshowable"....and keeps him humble!

Hey Mission! I'm getting there, I think today is my pity party day. But of course, I went to the jail and taught English and other jazz. Now, I just have to write a 12 page paper (due Weds.) and prepare a 20 min presentation (also due Weds) about an ethical dilemma. Since I have no ethics (LOL!! I SO do!) this is very difficult. Actually, some of you may be saying "Why'd you wait so long?" today is the first out of bed day I've had since last Weds' almost-all-niter finishing the paper *for my classmates who "forgot" to bring their computers to class. I want bonus points for that, darnit!!

so, I have about an hour of playtime left, then supper, then a quick nap (which I'd do now, but the chili would burn) then it's the books, baby! I was thinking of asking for an extension on the paper, but the presentation is built on the paper, so I might as well just do them together. Thankfully, I have a really good ethical dilemma  (how I talked a mom into signing physical and legal custody of her daughter over to my cousin). Now I just need to learn PowerPoint....

You know, for doing so much bitching about life, I must remember: At least I have one to bitch about, and at least I'm not an Anthony!!!!

This AM, I was mistakenly watching the news, and a guy from Seaworld was on. He was explaining why they would not put this whale down. He said it was because the whale reacted naturally to a new "unknown" in his environment. He said the whale had never seen a ponytail before! I call total BS!

If you watch one of the videos at your link, you'll see that ALL the female trainers were wearing ponytails. I'm sorry for the animal rights activists, but this whale needs to be put down. He should have never been captured in the first place (I'm a "all animals need to live in their natural environment...except my dogs" person) and this is the 3rd time he's killed. Put him down, and write off the millions seaworld makes in sperm fees off him! Grrrr...

WOW it is crunch time for you girl - I think that warrants a little pity party - I mean seriously that is a lot to accomplish in a very short amount of time.....BUT it is what it is and I believe you can and will get it done. Hey it can't hurt to ask for an extension if it won't affect the outcome - you may want to consider that if anything for one of the projects.  If you won't ask for the extension then I hope you lock yourself behind closed doors with your favorite snacks, coffee, pop, or whatever your beverage of choice and focus on your mission - I know you will do it and I know it will be a job well done.  I am going to say a little prayer for you and that you will meet this deadline - OH wait..... maybe I should change that to asking the big guy to send you some ethics?  Just kidding - I know you have good strong ethics and values or you wouldn't be doing what you are doing.  Sounds like the experience with the mom signing over custody will be perfect for your presentation - and of course we know you did it with everyone's best interests at heart even though most would have taken the path of least resistance - right?  Good luck and get in your room with your snacks and drink.
