Tip Leads To All-Out Search Of Kit Carson Park

SAN DIEGO -- Escondido police are searching Kit Carson park after a phone call described a find by two boys less than 10 miles from where high school student Amber Dubois disappeared in 2009.

The boys discovered a bag of hair in the park in May of 2009. The boys told their parents what they saw but the parents didn't think anything of it until the recent Chelsea King investigation.

Escondido police received the call yesterday and told 10News that they plan to conduct a search throughout the day.   

Amber Dubois disappeared less than 10 miles away from the park on Feb. 13, 2009, on her way to Escondido High School.

Trimm, I know, we get these little fuzzy things from trees, this time of year, and some kind of green dust that drives me and the allergies nuts. I was out sweeping, and I'm still trying to get the imprint off the bottom of the tub from some tub treads. I'm trying one more thing, and if that doesn't work, the new ones are going on regardless.

That stuff is hard to clean up.   
I am going to check out Amber's thread.

Something is strange with a bag of hair. My thoughts, if you were going to do such a thing as too cut off your victim's hair, I just don't think you would make it to where someone could find it so easily. Now, I would think you would take a lock of hair to keep, but this seems way odd to me. This also may sound strange, but many times when I walk Zoe some people go to the park and brush their dog, and I will see clumps of dog hair. Could be someone did that and just put the dog's hair in a bag, instead of littering up the area.

Rosie, you could be right about the hair being from a dog...also could have been hair from a hair salon that got blown in that direction from the dumpster?
does anyone remember the girl who was in the bar in Chicago and the bouncer told her that she had to leave...he was later convicted of her murder.....and she was found dead encased in plastic wrap and all of her hair had been cut off? I can't remember her name...she had long black hair, seems she was Asian or some nationality like that...that was really creepy to me...why did he cut off all of her hair? what kindof sickos are among us???

I remember, but the one I'm thinking about was in New York if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure about cutting off all the hair, a lock of hair, but I just don't see this Gardner doing this. And yes, from a beauty parlor, that could also be. And what kind of bag, I also wondered.

I am doing well, thanks.

I guess everyone is at Chelsea's and Amber's threads this week. I simply can't "do" any more threads. I am busy enough with my work at home, the avatars, Haleigh, Somer and Casey's threads. Even when they are slow.

But I do follow the current cases through news, etc.

I hope Josef is doing better every day.

Was wondering, what are your plans for next Friday? You going to be home? You know why I am asking. Want to know when would be a good time of the day to celebrate. LOL
