Mornin', QM and all. Doc Day...jail day...school day...hmmm...what to do, what to do....

Hell on Heels you are for sure!  You have a busy day - I hope you made it thru the brutal homework and that you are feeling ok. 

yes, Mission, I made it thru the brutal homework, welll, almost all of it. I gave myself last night off, had to watch NCIS and LOST (whaaat?? No Sawyer, AGAIN?? no fair!) and am now finishing up some papers that needed to be edited and fixed. blah blah blah..I'm so tired of all this!! But, of course, after the jail, I will go to my favorite old bar in town and finish them there. Not to drink (I don't drink much), but because I can just sit at a booth in the back and work and drink DC and kill time between the jail and class. Hmmm... maybe I will have a drink?? Naw, that would be too mean for my instructor. I'm bad enough sober!

     Do you have time to come here and help me with this computer?  How do all these kids have laptops, are they all so smart that they know how to hook them up?

Where did you buy the computer? I think Best Buy will help you set it up, if you bought it there. If not, take it back and buy a Mac! The guys at the Mac store will have you all set up before you leave the store. Then, when you get home, you just plug it in and go. You do have a wireless router, right?  Nothing beats sitting on the back porch surfing SM!!!

Heyyy that sounds like fun sitting in a hometown bar booth killing time - I love it - I love old bars.  I think you might be right not to have a drink - not this time anyway - save the celebration for when you get the all clear - we will be your DD and take you bar hopping

Corey Haim Collapsed, Prescriptions Found

Corey Haim DiesCorey Haim collapsed in the bedroom of his mother's apartment and four prescription bottles were found nearby ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We've learned Corey had been sick the last couple of days with flu-like symptoms. The medications recovered, however, were not related to his illness, sources tell TMZ.

We're told no illicit drugs were found in the apartment.

Sources say Haim got out of bed just before 1 AM and collapsed in front of his mother. She called 911 at 12:53 AM and Corey was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 AM.

Corey's mom told authorities he had been battling prescription drug addiction for years.

Authorities believe -- though are not certain -- Corey died of an accidental drug overdose.    RIP Corey

Thank-you, it is hurting again, and I just wondered. Tomorrow I have to see the hand doctor, and I'm going to try to get into the doctor for him to look at my ears again, and then the podiatrist. My older daughter, thank God is going to come over Friday with her husband who knows and works with computers to help me with my laptop. I didn't want to bother them, her husband is dealing with a surgery on his wrist, and back problems, and she is working hard in nursing school, but they will be happy to help me.
