NRCG,the actual roll of duct tape was never found.Right?I checked over at The Hinky Meter and Val says the same.
Pieces of tape matched,but they never found the source roll.Right?   
I think the news article didn't word their stuff right.
I need chocolate now.

I believe you are right. Also did I read right, I'm confused with the knife, I know what the hinky meter is saying, but to me that piece of whatever sticking out of the knife looks like part of a dish cloth. Am I reading it right, that it is part of the knife blade?  I need to go walk Zoe.

I believe you are right. Also did I read right, I'm confused with the knife, I know what the hinky meter is saying, but to me that piece of whatever sticking out of the knife looks like part of a dish cloth. Am I reading it right, that it is part of the knife blade?  I need to go walk Zoe.

I am confused about the knife too.
Maybe Casey used her horseteeth to tear some tape.   
I thought that looked  like a string on the knife too.We must keep reading over at Val's cause they will figure it out.

I haven't been watching the Olympics as I'm not into spectator sports, but I'm into dogs!!!!!  Beautiful Scottish Terrier won Best in Show at Westminster. I really liked the Puli.  But the best looking thing there was the Best In Show judge.  I'm old, but I'm not dead.

Hi Baby, I didn't see the dog show. Glad a scottie won, my very first real dog was a scottie. I was just thinking about you tonight.

Hi JSN--Hope you can catch the shows you want to see.  I do think ice skating is beautiful and so graceful.  Congrats on your skating on Saturday.  I think you're terrific to have taken that up and you've done so well.  Also glad that Joe's lump isn't significant.  I have been reading, but had nothing to add as I haven't watched the Olympics.  I've just been trying to survive all of this global warming.  It's snowed here in Pigeon Forge every day for the past week.  A little sticks and then it melts in the sun.  I want to plant a carbon footprint on Algor's big butt. Donald Trump says since this scam has been exposed that Algor should give back the Nobel.  It doesn't mean anything anymore, anyway.  How's that for alliteration?

Trimm, I'm also reading at WS about all that too, but I'm still going with a string from a dish towel/cloth. If that is part of the blade, what would you have to do too the knife for that too happen?   I just got back from a walk. A neighbor of mine, who I can't stand, she has two little fancy dogs that she lets run around without a leash. Today, Bella the pup was running all around, and I wondered where Lola the pup was at. So here comes the neighbor with a bright lime green pup stroller with Lola in it. I just stared at her, and she says to me Lola doesn't like to walk on walks anymore so I bought her the stroller. Now both pups are young, so there is nothing at all wrong with Lola, I guess she just woke up one day and told her owner she doesn't feel like going on walks, can you buy me a stroller  And because I feel like a smart azz this morning, I said to her, I don't feel like walking either, but Zoe doesn't want to push me in a stroller, and then I walked away

My first instinct when one of my tipsters sent me a link containing a discussion between the astonishingly vile Janeane Garofalo and Rosie O'Donnell on the latter's radio program was to delete the e-mail message and pretend I had never received it.

I had just eaten lunch, and really didn't want to upset my stomach so early in the day, especially given how gorgeous the weather is here in Northern California following so many straight weeks of rain.

But curiosity finally got the best of me, and what I discovered was worse than I could possibly imagine.

From O'Donnell calling Rush Limbaugh a junkie to Garofalo claiming that everyone on Fox News is a liar, I really wish I had gone with my first instinct and ignored this travesty (video embedded below the fold with extremely rough partial transcript as a result of the shooting pains caused by the content, h/t Story Balloon):
