The Romanian skier was airlifted out.  She stood up for a while on her own but medical crew made her lay down.

Prayers to the skier and her team mates. I hope she is going to be okay. It looked like she really wiped out.
As for the photo finish wow. It really does look like they were both there at the same time.

Weir was having a fit at the athletes village as he wants a pink mat in his bathroom.  He likes his roommate at the village as she left their room  so he could watch Real Housewives of Atlanta while he walked around his room naked.  He also stated that he knows he can not win a medal tonight so wants to throw a backflip into his performance just to mess with the judges.

Man infatuated with U.S. VP breaches 2010 security


A mentally ill man with a homemade security pass was able to get within metres of U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden during a security breach at the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, CTV News has learned.

As dozens of police held back thousands of protestors outside of BC Place in Vancouver, a 48-year-old British Columbia man slipped past several layers of security inside the venue, said RCMP Assistant Commissioner Bud Mercer, the head of the 2010 Integrated Security Unit (ISU).

Mercer said the man's target was clear.

"He had an infatuation with the U.S. Vice-President."

Biden was seated in a section reserved for dignitaries. Twelve steps away from the VP and out of view of the cameras, the man started making his way down the stairs after the national anthem ended.

That's when two female plainclothes Mounties charged with protecting Biden acted, Mercer said.

"They described him to me as simply not fitting in," he said.

"They approached him, determined that the accreditation he was carrying was forged or fake, confronted him and escorted him out one or two steps at which point he attempted to run and was taken into custody."

It's about time I run into another person on the next block that owns a Greyhound dog named Connie, that wears a big ole plaid coat, I think she spent more on that then I spent on my own coat  I literally have to bite my tongue when I walk around here, I'm afraid that I will say something that will pizz somebody off. Oh well 

No Rose, you are killing me with stories about your neighbors. The guy with the dog off the leash the other day had it on a leash this afternoon. I waved to him and he gave me the evil eye.  I guess he noticed that I yelled at his dog the other night. JERK.

The way I read it the Mounties were protecting him while in the venue.  I am guessing no, white trench coat lady is part of his secret service, but could be wrong.
