Skating?  I have to switch back and forth, b/c TLC is having a show about the murders of Jasmine Fiore and Anne Presley (Little Rock - I live in Arkansas).

I was reading the other day about a lot of murders in Little Rock, home invasions and rapes that the press isn't saying a lot about. Is that true?

I live in the Northwest part of the state, but there has always been a lot of crime in LR, especially North Little Rock.  I no longer take the newspaper, because I read all my news online, but it is a really scary place IMO.  Glad I'm a small-town gal.

  The first two groups have already skated and we have seen one team skate. Can't they show skiing during the day? All that was on NBC that I saw today were infomercials. Sorry I would rather watch skiing during the day, than Jack Lelane trying to sell me a fruit/veg juicer.

I figured out a way to tape the skating tonight while we are watching curling and hockey on the big screen.  Let me know which of the teams you want to see pictures of if NBC does not show the whole thing.

Can't remember who is dancing now, but I know they're US skaters, saw this routine at Nationals. love her hair, love his hat and chaps!

Fashion and choreographey and music (Dixie Chicks!) gives them a 10! Unfortunately, I'll have to deduct 1 point for the U of M sign at the beginning...so that's a 9 with the MSU discount!!

  I guess you will deduct a point for Davis and White too? I love their OD, the Bollywood dance. They skate last so I will probably be in bed by then. I wanted to see the Reeds skate in their Japanese duds.

I can't wait to see how the ones (Russians?) who dressed as Aborigines changed their costumes to dilute the outrage. Maybe they'll wear their First Nation blankets as ponchos and piss off the Abos, the Natives and the Mexicans! And, due to the judging, they'll win gold. Man, are they ever gonna clean up the judges?

(Oh, and in case anyone's wondering, I spent all day doing my homework, so I can play guilt free tonight, thank goodness)

I remember when Hubs and I were first married, waaaayyy back in the early 80's, we got the LR paper on weekends, and it was just one crime after another - unbelievable!   Perhaps the 'powers that be' don't like that kind of publicity?  That IS our state capitol, ya know?

Seriously, I wish they wouldn't do the aboriginal because it is ugly and stupid, because her D*mn dog picked out the music. They shouldve changed the program completely, not because it pizzed people off but because it is horrible.

Curtis Vance, the murderer of Anne Pressley, received LWOP for burglary, rape, and murder in his trial in Nov. 2009.  So sad for her mother - she was an only child, and was beaten to death in a viscious manner.

UGLY!!!! clothes way too tight, bods not all that hot, and color combinations that would blind a blind girl! Obviously, the uniforms were designed by the dummies at Project Runway...not the designers, the actual dress maker's dummies!!!

Will do Tevye. He is DIRTY HAWT. They could have gone back to their Folk dance from two years ago. I think they skated that year. They supposedly changed parts of their costumes but who knows. They look stupid no matter how you look at them. I think even the Russian judge will have to mark them down.
