She wrote a speech she will read
She stands in front of the Judge as a humble servant of God
She is sure Judge has read many letters of her that are people that do not know her and have passed judgement on her
Judge does not know her, wants him to get to know her
Mother, business woman, servant of God, giver, Christian is what defines her as a person
Christian is not someone who goes to church every Sunday or a few times a week
A Christian gives their life over to go and is Christ like
Jesus loved everyone even his enemies
Jesus forgave
Jesus was innocent yet was judged and found guilty
Please forgive them father for they know what what they do
Hard to be Christ like going through this when you know the truth
I might know what Jesus was thinking as he hung on the cross going through the last 2 years
She has been punished, her family and her business for things she has not done
What people have done has almost made them lose their company and everything they have
Attacked by people on the internet, business and websites attacked for the world to see
Not many people out there that truly know Jesus and they do not know what they are doing
She has baptised people in Africa
Her heart breaks for the people who have hurt her
She has been mocked for being a Christian and she prays for them as they know not what they do
She has closed her mouth for 2 1/2 years
Spoke to the media in the beginning as she thought she was helping
Have never been able to tell the whole story, the true story for what has happened
Her heart bleeds and it is sorry for any pain that helping this young woman has caused
She is sure her words will be twisted on the internet like they always are
She was handed Gabriel by a mother in need 2 1/2 years ago
Took good care of him for 9 days
Knew by 2nd day she did nto want to give tht baby away, held her hand through it thinking she was doing the right thing
Would love to tell the Judge what truly happened but can not as has been warned not to talk about the case
Will not stand there and beg for probation.  Can survive where ever she is.  Will never help young mothers again.  Set up a foundation to help mothers instead.  Asks judge not to take foundation away
She can help so many through her foundation
Judge will ntoice on her website she is not taking donations at this time for her foundation
God will help Judge see the truth and all the lies told about her

Defense recommends on a case like this with no priors, probation without jail
Enima Woman never offered a plea Logan was in his case
Logan's case had aggrivating factors as does this one
Logan took advantage of the state and took 3 years of probation and 80 hours of community service, ask the same for Enima Woman.

Wants to make it clear that Enima Woman is not being sentenced for the disappearance of Gabriel
State has never alleged that Enima Woman had anything to do with Gabriel's disappearance

Judge now addressing the McQuery family.  Telling them how sorry he is about Gabriel is missing,

Judge wanted to hear a sorry to the McQuery family and he did not hear it from Enima Woman

She states her heart is pure but he can not judge her heart

Judge has read and heard about how Enima Woman grew up and how difficult it was.

Judge telling her that she had inserted herself and immediately assumed Logan was wrong.  That is not a crime but her actions effected Logan's rights

Judge thinks jury got it right.  May have come at it with the right heart, but the actions were wrong

Does not accept that Enima Woman thought it would be ok to put someone elses name on court docs. 

Judge observed in court a disturbing tendencing to do what ever she thought was right

She talks a lot about what others have done to her, and Judge notices a disconnet between what Enima Woman says and how she acts and feels

Does not profess to have a relationship with God that he can tell her what God it thinking

Sentence - Probation 3 years on both counts to start from today.

Brief Jail term is appropriate under the circumstances.  Judge not convinced that she understands and accepts the harm she has caused with what she has done.

Differed Jail time on second count to see how she is doing.

Imposing mental health terms. Probation dept to monitor from a mental health perspective

A judge has sentenced Tammi Smith to 30 days in jail and three years of supervised probation for forgery and conspiracy to commit custodial interference in the Baby Gabriel case.

The would-be adoptive mother of an Arizona baby missing for more than two years made a last plea before a judge at her sentencing hearing in Phoenix.
Smith, 40, said she's never been able to tell the "true story" of what happened because she said she's never been allowed that chance.

Smith's attorney asked the judge for three years probation and 80 hours of community service.

"I'm asking that you look deep in your heart. I don't envy you having to make this decision, but I am asking you to look deep in your heart and make the right decision, and that would be to allow my wife to go home with me today," Smith's husband, Jack Smith, told the judge in court on Friday.

Smith could have faced one to seven and a half years in prison stemming from her May conviction of forgery and conspiracy to commit custodial interference.

Prosecutors wanted Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Joseph Kreamer to consider the crimes separately, which would mean mandatory prison time.

Instead, Kreamer determined the acts were part of the same criminal objective and therefore, Smith is eligible for probation.

The judge said Friday that Smith does not deserve prison based on the offenses and her lack of a criminal record.

The missing boy's father, Logan McQueary, was not present. However, his father, Frank McQueary, was in the courtroom and went before the judge prior to the sentencing.

"We still don't know where Gabriel is," Frank McQueary said. "We fear the worst, and we fear that we will never see him again, and part of the reason is because of what Tammi Smith did."

Frank McQueary went on to say, "She set out to take this baby from our family, so as far as our future with Gabriel - there isn't one."

"If she goes to jail and she is removed from her family for a while, maybe she will feel what our family is going through," he said.

She is creepy. She should have turned and looked directly into grandpa's eyes, and express her regrets. She is just creepy, just plain stinking creepy.  IMO

Grandpa and Great-Grandma were expecting Gabriel to spend Christmas Eve with them, but Enema Lady had possession of "Joshua".

Missing Baby Gabriel case: Smith cancels jailhouse interview

Tammi Smith, the Scottsdale woman convicted of forgery and conspiracy to commit custodial interference in the case of missing Baby Gabriel, canceled a jailhouse interview set for Monday.

Smith, 40, was sentenced Friday to 30 days in jail and three years probation.

On Sunday, three days after starting her term at Estrella jail, Smith signed a form with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office granting permission for a Monday press conference.

The local media assembled at the south Phoenix jail at the appointed hour when Smith decided against meeting with them.

She agreed and has since declined," Maricopa County Sheriff's spokesman Chris Hegstrom told the media. "There was no reason given."
