Thirdstrike - regarding the aru-bay videos.  I believe they are exactly what that person Ed Smith said they were...to try to prove the 2 security guards were innocent.

What is video'd is all search activity regarding the Natalee Holloway case.  There are even videos of the F-16's.  Approx 24+ video segments over a number of days.

It is my OPINION, that they are very important to the case.  Now, regarding the so called "missing segment".  I never saw it and know nothing personally about it.  I don't know if that missing segment would or would not hold more clues than what is already available for all to see.  That is for the family investigators to determine.

I believe that is what the one with Mickey Johns in it is about and the rest are like he says, good and bad people everywhere but just made as a background for their music to put on CD.  

Remember before we lost them all the posts all over the internet by Ed Smith with the same email address as though there is nothing on them and references them to girl who used to live on Aruba as though they are just sight seeing tapes and talks about her singing on a blog that is advocating Natalee ran away?  He doesn't contradict that or say he has a video of the recovery of the body or anything just chit chats, hardly the behavior of a person sitting on such a hot piece of evidence or knowledge.

Just my opinion but old Ed has said himself there is nothing on the one that is missing that applies to Natalee.  Not even sure when they were shot as many do not have time stamps but it was never one long video cut up as some have contended as jets flew over a month later.  Ed would have said something about it instead of just posting so casually and supporting site with photos of protesters saying Natalee was in Brazil dancing.  He might have at least disagreed with that but he didn't.

Just my opinion of the videos for I don't think they are about Natalee.  About the false accusations against the black security guards yes but only as a civil rights issue.

mrs. red, Jacqueline is always exchanging Mets info with Widget....I do not think she's a Yankee fan, and took it as a anti-Yankee banter that would be typical of Met or Boston fans, which we're used to and guilty of on the other hand....so I think we are on the same page, except the fact that the new player is Aruban...(even though his history is murky)....the generalization is what I was talking about.

Did anyone notice on the chicago videos...beginning of #6...a red truck with the word POLICE on it??  Dave did!  Strange that so many have scrutinized those videos over and over and no one, to my knowledge, has ever noticed/mentioned that spelling difference? Bu Dave picked up on it.  Why would POLICE or POLISE...instead of the Aruban spelling POLIS be on that truck??? I was told Dave feels these videos are not connected with Natalee and of no importance to the investigation.....that make sense to me...knowing Dave...if he thought they were pertinent to Natalee he would have had those tapes long time ago....no matter what the cost.

Just thought I'd share this info.  Before anyone asks  this came to me from someone who is  close to the family.

Klaas do you think you could go in and capture a picture of that truck...it's very blurred and I don't know how to capture the picture...etc. I'd love to see what's there...TIA

I'm not saying it's the recovery of a body either.  I do believe there was a crime at the rocks though, evidence...blood or something.  

In the end, it makes no difference what you and I think of the videos.  I'm sure by this time the FBI has viewed at least the ones currently available on the web.  Let the experts decide.

Jacquie... my sistah... new reason to hate the Yankees.... they just signed a pitcher from Aruba...

We're Yankee fans, here, but have family & friends like Jacquie who are Mets fans....makes for good fun & conversation.  Ponson is the one that's been in trouble before....time will tell.  

We have friends around the corner who's son met an Aruban girl in college and married her this fall on the island.  I don't hate my friends because this occurred.  JMO

Gonna go back to lurking...maybe have a little pinot...off tomorrow for a family wedding.

Gosh, no!  And I sure don't hate all Arubans for this either, just those in charge and those who did this cover up! None of us do that I know about.   I do wish they had protested like they did about the turtle eggs but they didn't but I still don't hate the average person on the street there.  

And that baseball player was allowed to pay a fine for beating up a judge, something that their law required jail time be served for but he didn't.  Guess we don't understand their system changes depending on who it is!  They seems to have two sets of laws, one for the elite and one for the average Aruban.  And many of those girls are very pretty there so your friend probably has a lovely wife who had nothing to do with this.

You are correct. Nothing I did would highlight a single word or post. I could do right c l i ck and select all. Otherwise I only got a circle with a slash through it. It must be a glitch or may be something set up to keep the dark side from copying individual post to post at there site. JMHO

This is definately an issue for Tom.  It works for me but it may because I have the ability to edit the posts.  I'll let him know.  I don't know if it's a glitch or intentional but I'll find out.

Could the problem with the FP be a form of copyright protection?  Something to prevent the information from just being taken?  I always thought if I ever got a dog website, I would do that to their photos so they don't end up on somebody's note cards or calendars, etc.

just my opinion but i always thought the perps were watching the filming of natalee in the porno clip they were watching in the car.  I dont know why but i always felt that to be true. the figure of the female with her hair over her in the film just struck me as it being her. I hope to God im wrong, but with all the lack of morality these pimps posses i can come to no other conclusion. ayr ago we idscussed this online here but i dont know if we really believed it was a possibility.  the more i have learned the more makes me think im right.

Although I do not post at SM any longer, I will ALWAYS give Red and Tom credit for having the foresight to start SM and dedicate so much of their time to this issue. I believe they are THE pioneers.
