This is another list, not specific for San Diego and Cal Hwy Patrol so may vary. Very long....

POLICE CODES AND ABBREVIATIONS:
A NEARLY-COMPLETE LIST

Below you will find the mother of all lists which is quite lengthy and intended to represent the range of abbreviations nationwide.  Codes may vary by jurisdiction.

I wouldn't say that is exhaustive.  Where is "Doughnut Shop"?

Make a law that says that ALL requests for change of venue in California violent cases get sent to Texas.

I see where you're coming from, but no thank you.  We don't need any more violent criminals/cases here in Texas.  It's really expensive keeping them on death row until all of their appeals are up.  It' takes years, and years....unfortunately.

Body Of Missing Teen Found In Or Near Lake Hodges
Sex Offender John Gardner Charged To Be Charged With The Murder Of Chelsea King, 17

POSTED: 12:14 am PST February 26, 2010
UPDATED: 2:59 pm PST March 2, 2010
SAN DIEGO -- BREAKING NEWS: The body of 17-year-old Chelsea King, who disappeared while jogging in Rancho Bernardo Community Park last Thursday, has been found in or near Lake Hodges, sources told 10News.

The teen's body was located at around 2 p.m. A candlelight vigil planned for the teen is still scheduled to happen tonight.

Earlier in the day, hundreds of volunteers and law enforcement personnel fanned out over fields, swamps and marshes around Lake Hodges for a sixth straight day Tuesday in a determined effort to find a Poway High School senior who went missing while on one of her regular jogs in the scenic area.

Chelsea King, 17, vanished late Thursday afternoon after parking her car at Rancho Bernardo Community Park.
