i have never met a person that leaves work early but cant remember why
they left early or what they did after the left work early

Robots - When I Robots your avatar it reminds me of "Night at the Museum" (where the dinosaur skeleton along with everything else comes to life after the museum closes). The only way to avoid the dinosaur was to give it a bone. I keep picturing where they hooked up a remote control car to drag a bone around to deflect the dinosaur

Now, earlier on, about a week or two ago -- excuse me, I guess Wednesday it would be -- Gerald Spong said that Joran and Guido never met, they weren`t friends. I think just today he conceded that, no, they were acquaintances.

But Joran`s own attorney said, no, the kids knew each other. They went to the tennis club together in Aruba. They were nightclubbing, casino hopping. I mean, where is the truth? I mean, I think the relationship between these two I think is very, very interesting and should be explored some more.

Personally, I think Guido probably is gay.  That does not mean that he couldn't be involved with raping or hurting Natalee.  Rape is about control, not sex.  Guido may have even gotten jealous that someone was with Joran?  Who knows?

Heck! You can claim anything as an attorney if you don't ask your client any questions.  Maybe he told Guido not to tell him if he knew her. "Don't tell me if you are guilty or not.  I don't want to know that."

We should find out more about the guy who disappeared in Saba.  I tried searching online but didn't find anything.  I'll try again later. It might help his family and show a pattern of a "Tourism, not Tourists" mentality among the Dutch islands.

I know that replying to myself is a bad sign, but I found an article.

Federal authorities are monitoring and assisting in the search for Trenton resident Joel D. Gove, who disappeared on the tiny Dutch Caribbean island of Saba recently.

U.S. Rep. Chris Smith, R-Hamilton, has been helping Gove's family since Jan. 2, he said yesterday, and this week he talked to U.S. State Department officials and urged them to get someone to the small island soon to represent the family.

Also, the Trenton office of the FBI said it is "officially monitoring" Gove's vanishing, but will not take any active role until more information or a request comes from Saba police authorities or evidence of foul play is raised.

Gove's disappearance is listed as a missing persons case in Saba, part of the Netherlands Antilles, Saba police have said.

The 47-year-old Gove lives in Trenton's Glen Afton neighborhood and runs an environmental consulting firm on West State Street in downtown Trenton.

He flew to Saba on Christmas and planned to stay until Dec. 30. He was last seen on the morning of Dec. 28 hiking a trail on the 5-square-mile island of about 1,400 people. He was walking in the direction of an abandoned sulfur mine that is popular with tourists, but no evidence exists that he went into the mine, Saba police and his former wife and co-workers say.

Saba's top police official said searches for Gove have taken place at several places on the island, including the mine, and from air and by boat around the rocky island, which has no beaches.

Amy Gonzales of Ewing, Gove's ex-wife, returned Monday from a week of searching for Gove with two co-workers from his business, as well as his brother Brad Gove, who is still in Saba. Gonzales said she had nothing new to report yesterday.

Congressman Smith said he wants the State department to have a consulate official travel to Saba to meet with Brad Gove.

"Frankly, there's more that needs to be done," Smith said.

I always had this idea in the back of my head that Paulus (assuming he’s involved and then ofcourse is the clean up crew) put Natalee’s remains under the natural bridge and blew it up. He couldn’t keep them forever, if he hadn’t buried her.
After all I doubt there was a police investigation into the natural occurence.

If you are thinking about little Stevie boy, I think we would have heard that he provided another one of the perps an alibi by now.  Afterall, he was such a reliable witness...

I don't think he had an alibi because the only person that could give him one was the one and only Joran van der Sloot.

Some of us have pondered this idea as well...just seems so far fetched to even think that one lone person could pull this off.  Wait!  I forget the entire island is in on this conspiracy, so maybe PVDS could have pulled this off. This would certainly give JVDS a reason to laugh about them ever finding a body.
