he Girl Scouts are telling people several lots of the Lemon Chalet cookies may have a funny taste. So the organization is offering to give consumers their money back.
Only the Lemon Chalet Creme cookies are involved in this. There is nothing wrong with the cookies. The Girl Scouts say it’s just a chemical breakdown of the oil in the cookies may make them taste funny.
Little Brownie bakers which manufactures the cookies said, "We have fifteen affected lot codes distributed to 31 of the 81 Girl Scout councils in a variety of states."
Update: I just heard back from the company about which states may have received these cookies:
