May 2008 Why are there no free lunch? It's simple: because of the opportunity costs. And what are opportunity costs?  Fixed costs, variable costs, with or without transport costs and packaging - a bit of everything, but that it does not come to the economists in detail. The opportunity costs of an automobile consists in the fact that you could produce with the materials used optionally also different: for example, toys, typewriters and vacuum cleaners. Not everything in unlimited quantities. But just as an alternative to the car in question: The materials and labor to put in the finished car, could thus be used for all sorts of different.

What are America's alternatives?  Should Obama choose for us?  Or should American's choose?

Since that is also in the Rhineland cathedral city again formulated by the knowledge of the Anglo-Saxon liberals insight: "You get nothing for nothing." In the Kölsch version: "For jivvet nix nix."

This also applies to government programs that will be created with those from pre-financing real welfare gains equal value. Expect to do this only if one includes the opportunity cost determined. But the latest, when the bills are paid, they are back.  There really is no free lunch.

There are no cheap imports from China or India.  Just poverty in America.

How will Americans compete with the anvil of Obamacare around the neck of business opportunity in America?

How many jobs will leave the US due to Obamacare?

Is here really affordable healthcare for everyone?
