Hope you feel better this morning    My daughter just emailed me and said on the radio show she listens to in the morning, they were saying hurricane type winds  I emailed her back and said thanks 

Feeling much better even ate something besides soup.  Don't you just love it when our kids do that. I think the winds are from Calif. to AL today. I know we have had some pretty strong ones today. They remind of the Santa Anna's but cooler. (temp. wise)

Feeling much better even ate something besides soup.  Don't you just love it when our kids do that. I think the winds are from Calif. to AL today. I know we have had some pretty strong ones today. They remind of the Santa Anna's but cooler. (temp. wise)

Thankful that they aren't the hot devil winds, that is ten times worse. It is on the cool side for now, just keep it that way

Off to walk Zoe, I'm still waiting for the bad wind to start. How I hope the weathermen got this wrong 

Have a good walk. I hope they got it wrong too.

They didn't  by the time we got back the driveway and yard was full of leaves. I can't control my urge to start sweeping, I know it is stupid but if you don't keep on top the work after is awful. So far Zoe doesn't seem to upset, but I'm sure she will be. 

Be careful sweeping leaves No Rose. Don' t blow away. Glad the wind isn't bothering Zoe.

Not yet, but I have the washer and dryer on, and the tv in two rooms out to drown the howling wind.

I hear you about the hot winds. I know summer is coming and it's going to get hot and will have to close up the house and turn on the air. So I am enjoying the cool winds. Hope it stays on the cool side for you.

Temperatures here this week have been very nice! 71 today for a high, 47 for a low tonight .. perfect in my mind!

Then I saw The Weather Channel's forecast for the weekend. 95° for a high Saturday and 97° for a high Sunday! Good Lord, it's just the beginning of May!

The weather is insane, hopefully those temps will last only a couple days  I would be nuts right now if that was in our forecast. I just had Zoe calmed down, then my son in law just stopped by, he brought their dog now she is going carzy. I will go walk her again to calm her down

JSM PLEASE READ THIS

Breakfast
Bowl of fresh fruit with yogurt and nuts

Lunch
Salad made with 4 cups chopped romaine or other dark green lettuce (not iceberg), half an avocado, and 4 oz cooked chicken meat, with Vinaigrette dressing:
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 tsp water
2 Tbsp olive oil
seasonings to taste (salt, peper, garlic salt etc.)
sweetner to taste

Put everything in a cup and whisk with a fork until blended, pour over salad

Dinner
Lasagna in a bowl
1/2 lb ground lean beef
1/3 cup ricotta sheese
1/2 c sugar free spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup grated mozzarella
2 Tbsp parmesan
1 Cup pasta alternative (spaghetti squash, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage, shredded zucchini, etc)

Cook the pasta alternative.  Brown meat with salt and pepper to taste and drain off fat.
Heat ricotta in microwave
Layer in a bowl: pasta alternative, ricotta cheese, ground meat, mozzarrella, sauce and parmesan.

Snack
1/4 cup whole almonds
