Some say the decision could come sooner, but the official word is that it will come on February 6, 2007 in the morning.

Yesterday the supreme court handled the case in which the Prosecutor's Office appealed the case in which mr. P. vd S. was awarded over Afls. 50.000,- in a case where the judge agreed that there was no reason for his detention. When the Prosecutor's Office appealed the case, the lawyers for vd. S. also did the same.

The Prosecutor's Office, defended by mr. Jorg insisted that vd. S. was not entitled to any money, since there were reasons to detained the person, but the lawyer for vd. S. mr. Swaen refused this and said that the amount due is nothing compared to the damages his client suffered during this ordeal.

The three judges will evaluate the case and the decision made in Curacao next month.

Thanks Yap.  It takes 3 judges to make a decision regard a few pennies rewarded to Paulus but only one judge to decide if his son is a cold blooded murderer.

I would like to know the 3 judges names:

I think that nothing and much will be revealed soon.Shango gives riddles for answers,as we know.i think the real rulers referred to in Shango are not the dutch, but the drug/money lords.I think time will answer all questions, like who was the insider who was spilling the truth a few months ago.Cat

Old post from MF on RWV about Lugo (the new? prosecutor).

Karen Janssen was on the case from day one. The only one changed in the DA was the spokesperson when in the beginning they had press conferences. The other DA that could replace Karen, was pregnant that time. If Lugo was working those days, believe, whe was a real B*ch and all those media circus would not have happened. Karen was too soft for those reporters.

Jan van Straatten after he retired was replaced by Gerold Dompig.

What else do you want to lie about?

If it was someone elses blood it was Joran's.  How could they explain Joran's blood being in Deepaks car.  After all he was a clean freak so they say.

I did not ever believe that Deepak was a clean freak about his car.  They had to say that because he was seen cleaning it in the early hours of the morning.

Morning everyone! I totally agree with your statement, San. The car was cleaned with the sole purpose of protecting their respective asses!

I can't stay but was hoping there might be some news on the filing. Anyone heard anything?

ON a rather serious note. Do any of you think this case will ever come to fruition on Aruba?
Will there ever REALLY be an investigation? Will the perpetrators of this crime against Natalee ever be prosecuted?

It would seem to me that if I were amongst the "powers that be" and an honest broker, I would re-open the case and re examine the evidence.

I wonder if the case turns cold, if the FBI and/or interpol can at that time do an investigation. I remember reading somewhere that one of these agencies can do just that ONCE the case is declared "cold".
I sure hope tihs is factual and this does happen.

Personally , I've given up hope on the Aruban Gov to do anything but cover their collective arses.
