Thanks Klaas, Anna, and any others for the latest reports.  I'm really not shocked, we all knew it was just a matter of time.

Unless I missed it somewhere, none of the Aruba papers even acknowledged the five year anniversary of Natalee's disappearance...not even Diario. 

I'm sure they didn't want to remind or upset any tourists there for all the activities going on...Soul Beach...International Film Festival...etc.  And you know how they hate being put in the spotlight over Natalee's case..

Well wonder if Richard Gere will want Anita picking him up from the airport now.   

My sincere sympathy goes out to the family of the victim in Peru. 

No sympathy for Aruba at all...I hope every network in the world picks up on the latest about their golden "boy"...and crucifies them over and over and over again for not doing the right thing in Natalee's case.  They had it coming! 

I agree TM.  When is someone going to put an end to this monster.

AMSTERDAM - Joran van der Sloot was in Peru are considered the main suspect in the murder of a 21-year-old girl who disappeared last Friday.

I was praying for Natalee May 29 12:40PM until May 30 1:45AM.

I know many of us mark that time and for the first time I wondered how/what jurin vanderslut was remembering that moment, b/c we all know he does.

Get him Peru!

I am fervently hoping and praying that Joran is apprehended in S. America before he can worm his way back to Aruba or the Netherlands.  I am being told The Netherlands does not have an extradition treaty with Peru but they could still turn him over to Interpol.

But please let him be caught in a South American country and not get baxk to Aruba!

June 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The news has just been released by BNO News that Joran Van Der Sloot has been accused in Peru, for the murder of a 21 year old female. Van Der Sloot was the prime suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Hollaway, an American student who vanished on May 30, 2005 while on her senior trip to Aruba.

Interpol is said to be on the heels of Juran Van Der Sloot, since all evidence points to him as the suspect in the murder of the daughter of a racer, Ricardo Flores. Sthefany Tatiana Flores Ramirez was found dead this morning in the Miraflores hotel Tac, after vanishing on Friday. Her family named Joran as the last person to see her alive. She reportedly left a casino with Joran and was not seen again until her body was found. Joran is said to have fled the country on May 31, and is suspected of being in Argentina. Interpol is searching for him.

Joran Van Der Sloot has been long suspected of foul play in the disappearance on Natalee Holloway, and has confessed to her death in several different scenarios, but each one just added to the fact that there was too much false evidence and not enough true evidence in the case for a conviction. Since Hollaway’s body was not found, it also made an arrest difficult in the case. Since the body of Ms. Ramirez was found in Peru, perhaps the outcome will not be so good for Joran Van Der Sloot this time, and justice may finally be served.

I get the sense that she was dead in the room for several days; found today 6/2. Apparently Joran left the hotel/Peru on Monday 5/31.

I have been told that the NL does not have an extradition treaty with Peru.  But should he get to Aruba, wouldn't Interpol be able to get him returned to Peru?  Surely they would not refuse to extradite him?
